VIRB 0445 0446 Bob, Al, and Ruth return to Apopka from Williston on Independence Day 2024

After a good visit at The Piper Kubb Restaurant, Bob, Ruth, and AL decided to get gas at the fuel depot, just before departure. While taxing to RWY23 At Williston, I looked at the SXM weather display for our route of flight and noticed the picture had changed considerably in the last half hour or so.
Bob and I decided to taxi back to the FBO and monitor the weather outcome at our destination. About 2 hours later, we departed with weather to the north and south, and some possible rain ahead on our southeasterly course back to Apopka. We flew over Ocala and east of Leesburgh to MODIN intersection to execute the RNAV A approach to RWY 15 at Apopka.
