You you wanted to temporary use the plasma cutter on job sights, you could run the plasma cutter on a big bottle of C02 and control the pressure with the regulator.
Mr.WildCat look into when cutting holes with a plasma cutter, look at the air flow from plasma cutter if plasma it’s self cuts in clock wise motion try cut holes counter clock wise, see if your holes come out cleaner, it worked on my regular linear rail plasma. If it works please do a video on it because I’m interested in air droid.
Inside offset holes should be counter clockwise. Outside offset should be clockwise. Also is there an over cut or over burn to make the thicker parts drop out.
@wildcatwilly by selecting the appropriate direction of travel we can be sure the side of the arc producing the squarest cut is cutting on the finished edge of the part, and the side producing the tapered cut edge is cutting on the waste side of the part. In essence it will minimize bevel.
@@LeopoldoMadrid-w5l 200% buy one! My only complaint is that it has a small cut bed. It is so fast not having to draw on the computer. I am amazed how little I am using a drill anymore. If I need a 3/8 hole in sheet metal I just slap it on there and have it cut it...
Hi have you had any problems with the Hynade plasma cutter and is it the CUT80NP CNC unit on Amazon? How did you connect the arc droid to the machine? I noticed the connectors in the back. Does it come with anything to allow you to hook it up to the arc droid? I am still trying to decide which type of CNC plasma cutter unit. The arc droid looks like a great hobbyist unit. Thank you for the video it is helping me make a decision.
@@lewiscrocker938 the plasma cutter I'm running has a port on the back so it is CNC ready. I would recommend buying the machine torch it comes with the necessary wire for activating the CNC machine and you don't have to solder connections. I was not very confident in my soldering capabilities so that's why I went with the machine torch. Don't be afraid to open up your plasma cutter and just connect to the torch fire wires.
For the price they ask for this toy they could have made it cut 24" x 24" at least or have arm extenders rather than the table extender thing they offer which is helpful but another motor to have fail.

I'm planning to buy a secondary it has impressed me that much.

@@tjs_welding_and_fabrication wow I love the explanation very concise. Unfortunately I don't think I can switch direction on the Droid

Where did you find the Hynade 80 . Can’t seem to find in Canada and Amazon seems to not list as available.

I think the Arcdroid and the Hynnade are about $4k all together. I mean that's hobbyist price range. Imagine using it in a working shop making money?
I'd say I probably have that invested. Get paid for itself on my second project... We were slapping out flanges like crazy.
