I purchased a pair of these ramps about 3 years ago and they have been good value for the money, i have two [Mercedes older estate cars and carried out work on the suspension and steering joints the cost saved on garage repairs has paid for them.. You would require two rubber foot mats under the wheels/ramps or the ramps can move as they are a little higher at the start and one of the new low plastic creepers . GOOD LUCK,.
Just bought these they don’t work for lower vehicles like civics. They also move. Need to figure out a way to stop the moving and add height for clearance
I like the extra 3 or 4 inches, can make working under a car much more comfortable. I do wonder about the quality and sturdiness. Would hate to have my head flattened between the ground and oil pan.
These are for sale on Temu for anywhere from $130 USD to $199 USD depending on the seller. Freight included in the price. These are so simple to fabricate I can't believe some metal shop in the US isn't making them, maybe with better steel than what we are use to with Chinese stuff. The frame is angle iron. The jack is found anywhere, one small diameter tubing and one larger. the tire plate form is stock diamond plate. A good welder will make these themselves.
one question I have. When you put car on ramp, are car jacks stands enough high to put them under and then lower car ramp jacks and remove the wheels together with ramp. So car can be sitting on jack stands only ?
i have a pair of those but my car is too low so i end up jacking up the car, placing the ramps under the wheels and lowering it again, then im able to get on them without tearing my front bumper off, or i could just put the bumper off, but the first option takes up less time.
I don’t think they’re legally available in California. Even if they were, they would have the proposition 65 warning on them, which you should consider seriously for you wouldn’t want any birth defects or any other health related issues I getting these.
They're not. This guy is charging hundreds to ship. They're on Temu for about $150 including freight. Careful, made in small Chinese factories and the angle iron they use is simply not the best. Spend a little more, have a welder fabricate them and go buy the jacks from Harbor Freight or Walmart.
good idea but requiring 2 people to help jack up the car is pointless. for a single person that will be time wating because he has to be continously moving from left to right side jacking up the car.
@@blackfoot5527You really gonna trust your life to just an e-break? Those go out all the time on older vehicles. I'd definitely want some more assurance than that if I'm sticking my head under there.
@@Zoroaster4 hey mate if you know that your brakes are not working properly you should of course block the wheels, I'll do it like this handbrake and put it in gear. with good brakes that is
chevecrazy454ss I found them after I asked about it a while back. Jegs has a nice pair where the hydraulic pump is in front of the ramps and you just have the lines going to the ramps. Makes lifting much vehicle easier. Thanks

I was thinking about buying them... Until I read the reviews for them. And lol oh its exactly what you should expect from back street engineering. It'll work, but... Make a prayer before you go under. xD
You are full of crap. I’ve had a set for two years and they come in quite handy quite often. I have a two post lift but it is often occupied and these are fine for an oil change lubrication etc. No one cares about your fake reviews of something you’ve never even been close to

you bought from the same guys?
We're setting one up right now; great, short video! 🙂
Just as the title says, $30 per piece, and $60 for a pair. While it does sound tempting, you lost me at $501.54 for shipping.
because they are too heavy unless quantity big then we can ship them by sea..sorry for that..

if the tires are not centered perfectly on the ramps when you lift the ramps tilt! Beware!

put a wet clothe underneath, it holds them tight
Heavy duty rubber Mat
First thing I noticed is they will need to be anchored. Angle iron will just slide across the concrete.
@@mr_handsome2you I'll try that if I decide to buy.

Well, they're made in China so that's definitely a consideration.
my rims are 20x14in wide and tires are 15.5 wide is there ramps wide enough for my wheels?

I just ordered them off temu the 10k weight rating with the tire stops in front so I'll know if they are any good soon lol

Get a board or something similar to place in front of ramp. Will give you little extra clearance you need.

so we still need jackstand to change tires
you should always use stands as an added safety feature
👍👍
👍👍
Of course. When have you ever been able to change a tire when it's resting on a ramp.
I want to buy a pair of them
So... how can I work on my brakes or wheel bearings with this ?
You don’t, use jack stands
Obviously you can't if the wheels are on the ramp...holding up the car.
Umm.. if you gotta ask this, u sure you’re good to be doing that type of work?
Interested. I live in Southern California. Can I get these for $30?
I’ll have them off you for $30 and even pay you the postage to England

Are these better and safer than jackstands?
Jack stands are just for safety, so those are better for that, this is definitely safer than just a Jack for sure
I have to see those welds.
How do you purchase these with affordable shipping to Canada?
too heavy to deliver, too much freight cost
I've seen seen this fail under normal 3,000 lb car weight definitely do not stick an f450 or f650 on these ☠️🙈🤣🤣

not bad, is it easy to lift the wheels up ?
Yes
These people don't even put anything behind the back tires.
