This video is NOT a character judgement of Sadhguru. We are a business case study channel, we do research and analytics on the story and quality of a business. We are not going to get into whether Sadhguru is a good or bad person or whether his content are scientific or unscientific. If that is your intention, please stop watching this video right now because we don’t want drama. We just want to educate you. Spreading values/goodwill/teachings at a large scale requires distribution, massive effort and resources, and we’re here to break down exactly that.

It is like writing a movie review without watching the movie. For me inner engineering was a life changing experience, and it was no anchor, I was already regularly working out, but I was still an addict, but yoga is an experience, which cannot be explained in words, a stillness which remains, creates consciousness about death.

I dont even tell to people that I have done it from Isha or talk about it, simply because people think we are trying to sell something.. If at all someone is trying to do it, they must have benefitted immensely and they want others to have the tool to experience greater things.. just like how a word of mouth spreads for a good movie, a nearby restaurant or a shop.. similarly this is also happening... its upto you to take or leave.. With due respects to you Varun, your team's research is just website based! Varun Mayya sir is immensely respected and admired by lots of people. But what is this way of presenting things in such disrespectful manner? The very way how you started mocking somebody so respected across the globe who is interviewed by Oxford, Stanford, Michigan universities and has admiration, respects from world class scientists, economists, entrepreneurs, environmentalists, UN agencies, celebrities, professors, intellectuals shows there is lack of maturity. The revenue model of Isha that you presented looks so fishy and propaganda based.
Just mere specifying the amount of donations or money collected doesn't really make it a business analysis. You're presenting 120 crores as if it's a sin they made !! Varun anna sir is an entrepreneur and knows finances very well . Isha is not just limited to Bharat it is an international organisation with centers all across the world , 120 crores that you presented in a way that Isha foundation is doing a sin or robbery , revenue doesn't come from just one country it comes from more than 300 cities in different countries.
Varun sir I was your follower, in one of the videos long back you mentioned that you've read more than 1000 books , but I was really amazed by the presentation you did of Sadhguru who is admired by billions across the globe! It looked immature for me ! Sorry Varun sir. When Sadhguru started Isha foundation, volunteers who joined there were highly qualified people from different fields of engineering, medical, business, art etc , who left their personal ambitions and goals and joined Sadhguru. So what is so significant that Sadhguru is doing? . What made those highly qualified people to join Sadhguru? You should discuss this my friend Varun.
Sadhguru has more than 10 million part time and full time volunteers.. our Brahmacharies, Maas have put in huge effort to make Project Green Hands, Cauvery Calling, Velliangiri Uzhavan FPO (no 1 FPO of Tamil Nadu), SaveSoil successful. Just for once go to Isha Vidya schools and talk to the students and teachers over there, you will be filled with love and have proud feeling that an organisation is working for the betterment of rural kids.
I think Varun sir 's team should work with volunteer based organisation. I'm pretty sure there must be some students who out of their love for Varun anna share his videos, make him viral without expecting anything in return because they know Varun sir is adding value to their life, ...yes this is volunteering.
Lastly I don't say that I lost all the respects for the man who saved young kids from getting into MBA scams , who guided young minds to build a startup. I still have the same respect. But my guru has taught me to not have conclusions about anything or anybody but I was foolish that I recommended Varun sir to attend Isha 's entrepreneurship program in comments section of one of his videos few weeks back ! I sort of felt that Varun sir has great abilities and potential to become wonderful entrepreneur.

    .
Also the donation part… now all the money they take for yoga programs and products happens in bill format not as a donation… so there is a account for all these
    .

As a person who has been near Sadhguru, and has known Sadhguru for a long time. He had a successful business in the past, more than what he is doing right now in terms of net profit. Believe it or not, he had a chicken farm, acres of agriculture land doing different vegetables (not paddy) and some engineering stuff that was supplying something to the factories (which I don't know the scientific details of). It was very lucrative for him. And because his family had a name in Mysore, getting customers and spreading the customer base was not a big deal for him. But, suddenly he left all that and went to become Sadhguru. It is now going well I guess, but there were times, when my family was involved in volunteering, even food was a problem, they used to tell that Sanyasis won't eat because of scarcity of food. Now, I guess it is going good, but I can 100% say that if he had continued to do what he had done 35 years ago, he would have been a multi-millioner

This video aptly explained what he is doing out there with the business angle of it but I don't think the value which we get is just identity and structure. There's a lot lot more to it. Correction, have some patience, read along
I have been in Isha programs, be it inner engineering (shambhavi mahamudra) or advance programs (bhav spandan & learning guru Puja ) or hatha yoga programs like Surya kriya
Watched the whole video since I have & been volunteering in Isha selflessly since 2018, I have been to Isha yoga center too, & know all what u said inside out
    So the fee
In 2018 it costed me 3000 for a 7 day class of yoga, it was a limited seat session in a hall, now do the math how much it would cost to book a marriage type hall for 7 days, logistics to do the program
During covid physical classes were not possible so they started 1st 2 yrs 2020 & 2021 for free for students, covid warriors, defence, police, doctors, & now it's a minimal fee of 1500-2000 & later on a 2 day initiation (to teach u the right techniques & lifetime support) , total it costs arround 4k approx
You can ask millions of people including me how it benefited them, it's life saving, this little amount is nothing compared to what they faced, in gratitude volunteers often pay for others who can't afford
It's called devotion which no business school can teach
So called therapists charge 1k to ifiinity to have a chat session of 30min & give u drug u have no idea about
Isha charges 2-3k (discounted for many trades & free for some) for a week long session & lifetime support
The 20k program you mentioned is residential program at the center, u want to live for free for 5 days? Eat for free for 5 days? Duh
They feed millions daily at center without any charges, open for all, but u don't know that so I can tell u about the programs & fee structure
Bhav spandan is a 5 day residential program with accomodation & food at 5k only
Next is samyama which is free
& NOW THE BIGGEST SURPRISE, SADHANAPADA - A 7 MONTH RESIDENTIAL PROGRAM, FREE
YES FREE, BUT U DONT KNOW OR MAY BE DONT WANT TO SHARE
Their app offers yoga, Pranayam, & meditation for free, no questions asked
    SO DO THE RESEARCH PROPERLY
    it's expected from a channel like u
    Not everything is business

With due respects to you Varun, your team's research is just website based and immature! Do you think Sadhguru is a joke ? Absolute propaganda! The very way how you started mocking somebody so respected across the globe who is interviewed by Oxford, Stanford, Michigan universities and has admiration, respects from world class scientists, economists, entrepreneurs, environmentalists, UN agencies, celebrities, professors, intellectuals shows how much maturity and clarity you possess. The revenue model of Isha that you presented looks so fishy and propaganda based. Just mere specifying the amount of donations or money collected doesn't really make it a business analysis. You're presenting 120 crores as if it's a sin they made !! For Shiva's sake you're an entrepreneur Varun anna , you know finances very well . Isha is not just limited to Bharat it is an international organisation with centers all across the world , 120 crores that you presented in a way that Isha foundation is doing a sin or robbery , revenue doesn't come from just one country it comes from more than 300 cities in different countries. Now I sense something, Varun are you jealous over somebody 's success?
Varun anna I was your follower
Varun in one of the videos long back you mentioned that you've read more than 1000 books , but I was really amazed by the presentation you did of Sadhguru who is admired by billions across the globe! It looked immature for me ! Sorry anna. When Sadhguru started Isha foundation, in your terms "employees" who joined there were highly qualified more qualified than you , who left their personal ambitions and goals and joined Sadhguru's mission. What made those highly qualified people to join Sadhguru? You should discuss this my friend Varun.
I challenge you, Sadhguru has more than 10 million part time and full time volunteers, you just try to make 1000 volunteers .. ok try making 100 full time volunteers who are devoted to not just for a person you are but for your mission and work! Try this it may take i don't know how many lifetimes for you.
You don't even know the efforts of our Brahmacharies, Maa's, volunteers undergoing to make things happen ! You don't know how much effort has went to make Project Green Hands, Cauvery Calling, Velliangiri Uzhavan FPO (no 1 FPO of Tamil Nadu), SaveSoil successful.
I don't say that I lost all the respects for the man who saved young kids from getting into MBA scams , who guided young minds to build a startup. I still posses but I don't really think you are genuine . But my guru has taught me not to have conclusions about anybody! I still want to have the same respect for you, but how foolish I am that on some random day previously I had recommended you to attend Isha 's entrepreneurship program !

And that person has done one program and you are concluding all his products as structure and identity. If you want to really make some business case study on his business, at least use a bigger sample size if you do not have the resources try the product for 40 days and then make a conclusion or whatever..
