Not really, it hasn’t aged well at all and and no one really talks about it. So no, I wouldn’t call it a classic. There are other Steve Martin movies that are way more classic than this
@@traerichard well actually… a “classic movie” isn’t really necessarily always based on opinion. Someone doesn’t have to like a movie but that doesn’t mean it’s not a classic according to public perception. There are movies I don’t necessarily like but I know they’re classics. example… The Goonies is a classic movie, not everyone has to like it but they can’t deny it’s a classic. This movie (Bringing Down the House) doesn’t really fit the criteria of a classic. But that’s not to say that it can’t be liked by certain people 🙂 does that make sense?
Nah, this movie isn’t a classic. It’s funny, no doubt, but it’s a pretty forgotten movie and hasn’t aged well. There are other Steve Martin movies that are way more classical than this movie
@@dimensionzone8048 yeah, this was a good comedy. I’m not particularly a fan of Steve Martin, but what I’ve seen of him is pretty good. The only Steve Martin movies I’ve seen are this and Planes, Trains & Automobiles with John Candy and that’s a fantastic movie
@@ACinemafanatic this movie was what I only remember her from. I had never actually even heard of the Halloweentown movies until years later. The first one I saw was “Return to Halloweentown” with that other girl playing the same role
This movie is iconic and such a classic.
Indoobidably

@NSA Supporter people can have different opinions on what a classic movie is.

RIP Betty White.
I saw this movie at a very influential age. Sexy Queen Latifah really left an impression on me.
I don't blame you, lowkey, she's my all-time favorite celebrity.
you guys should do the fifth element
Very funny movie 😂
Right… I’d even go as far as saying that it’s under appreciated and overlooked. It’s not that remembered, not as much as other Steve Martin movies
The son is Angus T Jones from Two and a Half Men
You also react to Stir Crazy(1980) and Bustin' Loose(1981).
Lex Luthor was Peter's arrogant colleague & apparent replacement.
Eugene Levy awesome guy.
Yo, Mike!
Watch Bowfinger with Eddie Murphy
Love that movie!! Keep it together! Keep it together!! Keep it together!
one of the best lines in the movie (in this video): 18:02
35:57 - even though I myself am "white", what did you expect from a white guy? No offense
😂😂😂
She was where?!
You skip the part where they throw him into the pool
"Bringing the house down", sounds better.
