@MrKChips If you have to cheat to win, you can't be a good player. When you cheat, normal people know they haven't real beaten the other person or side. There's no excuse for cheating. Why play if you have to cheat? I didn't know him so I cannot be sure but I suspect he had some psychopathic traits like lack of empathy, didn't know the difference between right and wrong, determined at all costs to achieve his goals and a risk taker. Not all psychopaths kill. That is a myth. Some traits are good. David James knows he is a psychopath. I remember him winning the FA Cup and being interviewed on the pitch. "What does this mean for the Liverpool fans?" asked the interviewer. DJ didn't know what to say; he had no empathy, he was clueless. Fascinating to watch.

Until the mid 90s the warm welcome in any match would include 5-6hard fouls to test the referee. Rarely a yellow card. Especially in Italy and Spain and teams Diego faced. He would get direct hits to his left ankle over and over and play on. The game has changed a lot in 30 years

When you see the goals he executed perfectly they are all "high hanging fruit" opportunities where 95% of top players would miss or never attempt. In this window he floats effortlessly it appears. The timeless execution can start deep in opposition territory and conclude spectacularly.
The perfect striker - it was almost like he didn't know what he was going to do until it was already done and the ball was in the back of the net. Nobody had a chance. An explosive electrifying talent. A true legend. Love from Ireland.

Sore loser!
@@abdillahijalalkhan2128Normal people don't feel any satisfaction when they have cheated. He was a poor player if he needed to cheat. However, if you look at other aspects of his life, he cannot be described as normal. Judging by your comment, perhaps your from the same mould. Fans tend to be unbalanced to some degree. Look at the people who behave like animals at matches. I once said to a chap, "How are you?" He told me he was getting over it a little now. He was talking about his team losing on Saturday. That's not normal.
