    Sounds like the steering coupler

Ah man, the starting reminds me of my 924! I fixed it with a button to the fifth injector to pump some fuel into it which made it start first turn.
Sorry to see the problem with the car, steering towards the left would mean something with the geometry and potentially suspension related. Hope it's nothing serious!

I think it’s fuel related, needs a proper investigation which I’ll do after I sort out the distributor

Certainly old cars require a personality from there owners

I feel your pain - old cars and their foibles. I was going to say it's a sticking front brake caliper to explain the pull to the left, but if you can move the wheels then it sounds more like a geometry issue. Good luck with the fix!

There’s some steering failure, so annoying!! 😢

I tried owning a few classic Porsches but unfortunately over here in New Jersey the mechanics are terrible and can't figure out how to fix them. So I can only drive newer cars under warranty.

Get some spanners and make friends with a mechanic! 🤓👍🏼

@@FlatCapDriver Not worth my time and the 'Porsche' mechanics don't know what they are doing.

This sounds likely, will have to check it out when I next look at it
