Same for me, I saw gaura on digging dog nursury and was wondering if it was worth growing, and Rosy convinced me.

This was so informative and helpful. The camera work showed exactly what we needed to see. I love Gaura and can now care for mine better. Thank you!

Thank you for this video. I planted 3 Guara plants last year and they bloomed all the way through fall.
I cut them down to about 3” and 1 of my plants died. I think I cut them down too low over the winter.
Guara is now my favorite perennial in my flower garden, they are absolutely beautiful when in full bloom. I just added an extra 4 Guara plants to another garden and can’t wait for them to bloom!

Thank you so much for those comments about the purple spots on the leaves! I'm new to these beautiful plants and established them in my garden last year. They performed beautifully all summer and into fall! I got worried after a spring freeze here in March when I saw the spots. We had early summer temps for a few weeks and they are full of green perfect leafy mounds, but then of course an unpredictable freeze hit and I thought they had been damaged. So grateful for your advice and tips to reassure all is well!

I live in zone 7 and I had two gaura plants in containers & they both died over the winter due to root rot. So I’m trying to grow them again but in the ground. I just love their wispy flowers. They due spread wide.
