The village Gogaldara is located in Tangmarg Tahsil of Baramulla District in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir in India. It is governed by Hardoo Aboora B Gram Panchayat. It comes under Tangmarg Community Development Block. The nearest town is Tangmarg, which is about 26 kilometers away from Gogaldara.

I climbed Mahadev Peak when at Biscoe School. One has to start from Harwan and then go to the base camp before the climb starts. What was suprising that we saw a Sadhu meditating at 13,000 ft, just below the peak. Unbelievable!
