As a Sikh from Jammu, now living in Bangalore..Im proud of J&K and India. Yes, we have our internal issues, but the common people of this great nation are determined to progress together at all costs.

Dont forget how Salman Khurshid supported the Gandhi family and tried to save Sajjan Kumar. Ordinary Hindu families dint do that. On the contrary, both communities go to Gurdwaras regularly. Do seva, Langar, Daan. We were looked after by our Hindu friends. My own cousins also in Pitampura and Rajouri area of west Delhi were saved by their Hindu neighbours like most other Sikhs who were saved bcoz Sikhs and Hindus usually live in same areas...else we would have become another Lahore or Rawalpindi where sikh population after partition came down to a few 100s...Anways i suggest you not to get into these areas which do not concern you. . Coming to the topic, Legally Kashmir is part of India whether you accept it or not. You have the right to have your own opinion. Nothing wrong in that, but it shouldnt be based on what a few people think. I know Kashmiris also who support concepts like Ghazwa-e-Hind. So all sorts of people are there everywhere. There are still issues outstanding in Kashmir as i have said, but a lot of +ve changes have happened recently which are being appreciated more openly, at a time when Gilgit Baltistan is seeing sectarian violence and instability. Even Shehla Rashid, a modi hater has appreciated her efforts in Kashmir. So that is fair game. In 1980s it was impossible to show any sort of appreciation towards India there, in the open....

So if any Muslim wanted to live under islamic Shariah, he/she had to migrate to the territory of Pakistan like Hindus and sikhs of Punjab and Bengal had to do, even though it was Muslims' dream of making a Shariah under khilafat, not the innocent Hindus and sikhs.

As A Kashmiri, I feel like we need more people like you from foreign countries to explore and share your experience in your vlogs, I like this style of vlogging, continuous walking, recording the whole day and random interactions with locals, just Like Dale Phillip. Haha thanks for saying that. I was on a bike trip in Kashmir for 1 week in 2019. And whenever I asked any local for directions, it was always all wrong. Even in the hilly, mountainous regions. I mean, irritating as it may be, it can also be dangerous. People in other hilly regions of India like HP, UK are very precise with directions. I guess every place is different.

Hi i hope you are enjoying the diversity in india. Being a kashmir i really enjoyed watching your vlogs. When you were looking for the place for dinner you were actually there , right in front of that restaurant .then you went into wrong direction. After watching your whole video , i realised that people were not able to understand you properly because of the language barrier. But yeah they never tried to tell you a wrong direction. These please are actually food street but its was too late and mostly after like 8:30 you wont be able to find any sellers out there. Its good to know you really liked the hospitality by kashmir people. Thank you sharing your experience with your subscribers.

I'm from here and I went to delhi last month and the moment I stepped out of the Airport , it felt like I was walking in a hot steam bath and getting sweaty and tired just by sitting down , AC was the saviour, but here in Srinagar we don't even use ac's and I can cycle kilometres around the city during the day not even get as tired as I got in Delhi 😂 . That is NOT an army truck. It's a CRPF truck as written in bold letters. CRPF is Central Reserved Police Forces. Army is NOT deployed within city or town. They are called to city/town based on specific intelligence inputs of presence of armed terrorists who are located inside cities/towns. Army doesn't do policing activities.
Some army camps were removed from srinagar city before 2016 but after 2019 srinagar has more army presence that it has ever seen. Kashmir was always peaceful. It depends on respective govts to show what serves there cause. All bad stuff happening in kashmir is coz of govts. Kashmir has seen best of it's times when vajpayi was the PM of India.

Sorry to inform you all my Pakistani brother and sister, You are trying to fought for Indian Kashmir in comment section but this issue is resolved according to us and the only issue left is the Pakistan occupied Kashmir including gilgit- baltistan. Its the matter of time when Indian government force Pakistan to surrender this territory or take control of it by force. We Indian or government are not in any mood to compromise anything on Kashmir. to bargain with India, Pakistan have nothing to offer. Then why we compromise if we get nothing in return? Kashmir is the part of India as other state. There is nothing to do with Pakistan.the only matter to us the territory which Pakistan control that belongs to us. Not mention any UN resolution and any treaty here because Pakistan not respected any of it. And India not bound to follow any of it in future to take control of remaining kashmir.we are not leave anything to Pakistan for free use or by fear of terrorism. When you were looking for the place for dinner you were actually there , right in front of that restaurant .then you went into wrong direction. After watching your whole video , i realised that people were not able to understand you properly because of the language barrier. But yeah they never tried to tell you a wrong direction. These please are actually food street but its was too late and mostly after like 8:30 you wont be able to find any sellers out there.

Phil I knew that you would like the Climate of Kashmir . I'm from here and I went to delhi last month and the moment I stepped out of the Airport , it felt like I was walking in a hot steam bath and getting sweaty and tired just by sitting down , AC was the saviour, but here in Srinagar we don't even use ac's and I can cycle kilometres around the city during the day not even get as tired as I got in Delhi 😂 . Thanks for visiting.❤

That is NOT an army truck. It's a CRPF truck as written in bold letters. CRPF is Central Reserved Police Forces. Army is NOT deployed within city or town. They are called to city/town based on specific intelligence inputs of presence of armed terrorists who are located inside cities/towns. Army doesn't do policing activities.

Some army camps were removed from srinagar city before 2016 but after 2019 srinagar has more army presence that it has ever seen. Kashmir was always peaceful. It depends on respective govts to show what serves there cause. All bad stuff happening in kashmir is coz of govts. Kashmir has seen best of it's times when vajpayi was the PM of India.

Sorry to inform you all my Pakistani brother and sister, You are trying to fought for Indian Kashmir in comment section but this issue is resolved according to us and the only issue left is the Pakistan occupied Kashmir including gilgit- baltistan.
Its the matter of time when Indian government force Pakistan to surrender this territory or take control of it by force.
We Indian or government are not in any mood to compromise anything on Kashmir. to bargain with India, Pakistan have nothing to offer. Then why we compromise if we get nothing in return?
Kashmir is the part of India as other state. There is nothing to do with Pakistan.the only matter to us the territory which Pakistan control that belongs to us.
Not mention any UN resolution and any treaty here because Pakistan not respected any of it.
And India not bound to follow any of it in future to take control of remaining kashmir.we are not leave anything to Pakistan for free use or by fear of terrorism.
