we were just getting started. to be apart of something this tremendous, seeing it start from nothing, was extraordinary. this field was our home. these kids and instruments were our family. this band gave us the greatness we never even imagined we could grasp. Mr. Travis you were truly one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. thank you for the taste of success, the inspiration and your lessons. that year shaped me the most
@@ruthguel6501 Ruth! I frequently go back to this video many times every year. I look so fondly of my time in front of this ensemble! Very few things in my life have brought me this sense of pride and accomplishment in other people. Miss you and hope you are well!
Carlos Velazquez hey it’s ok man. My band got dead last in finals at Duncanville. But I can tell you seeing your band perform was the most amazing experience.. the trombone solos are something I’ve never heard. Congrats man
Judging by how yall got top 20 on your first going to state out of 41 bands I think it's safe to say the next time yall have yalls state year yall are going to make finals. And yall better start going to boa comps now.
@@stephanieyepez7246 don’t lose heart, you guys were amazing. I’m so proud at the glow up y’all had this year and I’m very excited for what the future holds for the Jag band!! I’m a John Horn Alumni, marched in 2018, and my sister is currently in the Jaguar band. Keep y’all’s heads up and let’s make next year even better!!! “LEAVE NO DOUBT!!”
Thank you all so much for the memories of this season. I'm glad we made history and I'm excited for here this band will go in the future!!! Love every single ONE of these Jaguar band members. Thank you!
I just don't understand how this performance didn't make finals, or even win the entire competition to say. The level of executiion and volume is just impeccable. That just goes to show the level of competition is Texas. Take this band to any other state except Californa, they'd be the best. Well done. I come back to watch this video every now and then just for entertainment.
They would’ve won in California, it’s not a good marching band state. They still probably wouldn’t make finals in Indiana, Illinois, or Ohio. But probably would’ve made finals, and even won in most other states.

We were able to watch your show before we got on the field. The energy was insane! Congrats
Make me remember my show from this year at the end they had our music almost
I'm very proud of how far this band has come, and even though we didn't make finals, playing this was an experience of a lifetime.

Dion if they were in California, they would have probably have placed higher.
