    This is how I made my Beetlejuice suit 9* years ago, I bought a suit from a charity shop for £9 then added the paint.
    It was my first and favourite, it’s always loved at Comic-Cons

    Thank you so much for this! I’m definitely going to use this method. This is so much easier than what I had envisioned.

    We tried it and were successful. Be sure to use very good masking tape. And we used spray paint. Thanks for the video!

    I know the suit looks great, but can we also talk about Lydia and her lil babe, aww

    I done this, thanks for the suggestion. I tried it once with a cheap suit from a charity shop. I sprayed it three times over three days, so I needed three coats. Thanks so much for this.

      How much paint did you end up using?

    • @scotia7326

      @@Max-sp3jx used a white spray paint, about three cans worth. Hope this helps.

      @@scotia7326 Thanks for your quick reply. Were they the smaller 4oz cans or the larger 8oz cans? Seems to be a variety of sizes for fabric spray paint.

      @@Max-sp3jx I think just the regular sized cans. You can get it at any good arts and crafts store.

    Will this be as simple with a white suit and painting black stripes onto it?

    I know it's an old video, but I thought I'd ask. The stripes on the suit (in the musical at least) aren't very straight edged, they're rather jagged. Do you know how I could make these stripes less uniform and tidy?

    • @sallymorrison4912
      @sallymorrison4912 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I know it's an old comment but I think if you didn't spray paint the costume as thick as in the video it would make it similar to in the musical

      If you don't firmly press down the edges of the tape (don't have it LOOSE, just not extra-pressed) the lines will be more uneven when the tape is removed.

    About how big of a bottle/how much paint did it take to cover the suit?

      @@jacquardproducts Thanks :) I've got everything I need apart from the screen printing inks. But I was wondering if I could get away with using a permanent black marker pen instead for touchups?
