The Tri-Force Doritos are a masterful idea. I could 1000% see myself back in the day sharing one of those with my 2 other siblings! Though, I was never really a chip guy.

I like how the three colors are the same colors for the Spiritual Stones from Ocarina of Time
Imagine an upcoming Legend of Zelda Game or Movie gets released, and they use this design as an exclusive promo.

The doritos project was the best. I think it’s a really practical design, and it was well thought out and it seems like something companies would actually try out.

It would probably be a clear bag In a cardboard triangular prism for costs and for the Doritos to not break
That would be a good way to reduce plastic use. Cardboard and paper are really underused in packaging, and it kind of adds a cool aesthetic. @@michaelgplayzz
Except for the fact that they would never use it because they chips would break (it's been shown time & time again they need to have that much air in the package to not shatter) & the one that's not different flavors would be illegal due to labeling. It's horrible packing.

Doritos are the best, but red-bull & mtn dew cant be organized in a 12 pack, maybe a limited edition?

For the Redbull, I'm thinking either put the bull at the top so you have to kiss it everytime you take a sip. Orrr, think of it in a way that it's going to be a Redbull can holder, like how I saw the Mountain Dew one.
I would start drinking redbull
No just make the entire can a Bull and then make it hollow with the redbull inside. Then you either have to drink from the mouth or the other end…. You know What im takling about
@@Some_Kid11 or you could drink from the horns. it also works as a way to make people who take sips from you drink without using a straw.

I think the doritos are the only ones that retail stores would agree to sell. Theres a specific reason why most products are packaged as boxes or cubes and its all about space. Boxes, bags, and cylinders are easy to stock on shelves because they are less likely to waste shelf space.
Having salsa verde as the third flavor of Doritos instead of the purple ones is a crime
The cans are better as art, but the doritoes would be neat. And I say this as a person who stacks stuff in stores for a living.
The cans can't be other shapes, or it would mess up our recycling machine, and it's already a job and a half keeping that thing running smoothly as it's in constant use and needs to be emptied every five minutes because the costumes love to use it.
and we have the big machine that's bigger than some peoples bed rooms. but the costumes bring like 2-3 trash bags as big as 7-year-old, and there is often a line; you can only imagine the struggle.

@@moonsigil Mostly cuz i think one of the desgines has really nice potental to be a real product desinge, that beeing the doritoes.
and I wanted to give the video engagement in hopes of a possible third installment. Also, I preferred the cool but realistic design for the doritos over the impractical design for the cans. I felt the doritos really embodied the video title, making it an even better design. .
Yeah, not to mention how awkward and uncomfortable it would be to try to hold a can with that shape.
I now understand why Ganon was so obsessed with the triforce. I would be too if I got doritos!

Honestly? I like the first red bull design more than I thought I would. That's the kind of idea where even though these cans aren't super practical for drinking, I could see a following of collectors.
The cost of packaging if these ideas actually get implemented 📈📈📈
I really liked the new Doritos design, because it actually looks practical and really useful! The idea of dividing it into equal parts to share them with your friends is also great! In short, that's my most favorite design take. Red bull and Mountain Dew are sick too, but I don't think they're really easy to hold in your hand though.
The Dorito packs were great. Really genius, modular, skeuomorphic, perfect. They're like spicy Toblerone boxes!

Honestly, for the Mountain Dew one I was expecting you to just make the can mountain shaped and not have a mountain coming out of the can. The idea being, it's a mountain shaped can and when it starts to condensate - you've got mountain dew with your Mountain Dew.
the tri-force doritos packaging is such a perfect idea for small gatherings, though the dew one feels more like a can in a cooler than than the can itself (there's an idea though !!maybe you could look into drink cooler designs !

The dorito triforce with dip in the middle is genius, I would totally get one of those for parties
To improve Mountain Dew, you could make the mountain a packaging by separating it from the can. You could also design a six pack version because why not. You could do something similar with red bull but I think Mountain Dew might be easier…

I think the Mountain Dew logo should have been like the mountains, sticking up from the can.
The doritos is definitely the most practical, as it can actually be packed and shipped really easily cus of its shape, the other cans would be really complicated to make and wouldnt fit together well when packaged

As a suggestion what about better McDonalds packaging, the happy meal box is iconic but their regular burger boxes don’t hold anywhere near as much marketability.

These look amazing. Best one is in my eyes is the doritos one as it feels like real a product, I could honestly see in stores while the rest seem more like celebration limited edition cans. Still cool looking but not the easiest to drink out of.

For the Red Bull you could add 2 horns on the top and they could even be straws, I want to see u redesign Dominoes or Prime

I’d say the Redbull can handles should be a separate product from Redbull and when you are done with the can, you can take off the handle and put it on another.

I was thinking of a new type of packaging for the nuggets at McDonalds I was thinking of it being a sphere with a glass top you can flip to the bottom and then from there… ok to put it short it’s a bowl with a top you can turn and reused… idk I randomly thought of it being a idea
"Better" packaging? I wouldnt even dare to touch these, seems like some ultra rare packaging, or a collectors item that is meant to be set on a shelf. Insanely cool (except the doritos, id love to see that in stores)

You should have probably gone for a glass bottle for redbull. That way the ornamentation makes more sense

the doritos one its actually fire, but you could never have embellishment on cans rlly. the drinks can is a genius shape that optimises the transport/storage efficiency to volume ratio.
These designs are wicked and made me realize that if in my lifetime I experience a world-shaking pandemic but not a funky food packaging revolution, I WILL give existence a 0 star rating.
the Doritos design is cool, but not good for customers who wants to find the flavours. i suggest to put the flavour label on the front side so it'll be easier to find.
For redbull you could've made a an f1 trophy cup with handles as the bull
And the juice will be inside the cup,
The cup would be covered with a fancy lid

The only thing with the doritos I think could be added is a grip on the top area for the whole thing. Maybe a cardboard strip around the three boxes with a grip on a side

I appreciate the Doritos concept, but it shares a lot of issues I also have with Pringles and tube-based packaging in general. Namely, they take up a lot space when thrown out and it takes a lot of unnecessary work to compact them, especially if you're trying to go for aluminum tins. Also it's annoying trying to grab the chips at the bottom and I imagine that the triangle shape wouldn't help with that.
Personally I think as a future project, try to improve the packaging for Pringles.

The Doritos are just so practical and they're so pretty and dip that you can split
Honestly, if all three flavors of Doritos in the Dorito Triforce were flavors I liked, I wouldn't even need to have friends to justify buying it. I'd get it for myself and display that package with a Link and Zelda figure on either side of it. Or even just if it was all one flavor.
about tri-force doritos I think the nutritional information and the doritos illustration on the side of the blue Doritos should be exchanged to give a more harmonious design

The Doritos idea was best due to its practicality, could really see them going with this.
That said, I think the Red Bull can could have worked if you simplified the bull a little bit and made the legs stick out less. Basically just add some depth to the existing bulls and perhaps play with the placement as you did. That would be unique, but also more feasible.
I like the first redbull version, if i buy one, i'd be getting two metal bulls. I could have an army of bulls!😀

The doritos make so much sense, everything else doesn't seem possible. I really wish the doritos takes note of this
suggestion to further adapt the trio dorito tower; add a portion which opens on the side with nutritional info, which allows you to grab the chips easier, while mainting the base shape of the packaging to hold them in place.
