Thanks for sharing this video, I loved it when you first posted it on FB & look forward to seeing what you do with your new TH-cam Channel. You’ve been one of my favourite producers ever since I first heard this tune when it was originally released. Keep up the amazing work with Social Misfits & your other projects. Mad Respect due to ya mate...you’re a true originator & innovator!!!
It's hard to put into words the impact this tune had on raves when it came out. Early 1992 was the peak of the hardcore era for me. Magical days to be a raver.
Heard this for the 1st time on the Top Buzz 1991 NYE mix on tape when I was 13. Took me until TH-cam kicked off properly with the same mix with track listing to get the tracks name. Brought it streight away on Vinyl! BANGER
This track got me through my driving test. I was so hyped up and played it a couple of times before the test and I was just in the zone. Hear it in my head every time I go past Dunstable College.. 😎
All i can say is thanks for the rush's and the amazing memories of this track at Dreamscape, NRG, Skegness weekender, and various other rave events back in the day. One of the tunes that defined the rave scene - much love
What a banging track...always remember it from that Fantazia Westpoint NYE 91 Top Buzz set, Deffo in my top five choons...those raves back then were life changing...Perception, Fantazia, Universe, Raindance, Castlemorton.
Hi mate, firstly thanks for this video it was quality. Secondly, thank you for what you brought to the rave scene at the time. Your sound set the standard back in the day, and is beyond iconic now... so many amazing memories from those days for me. I still have this track on vinyl, along with various other quality remixes of it... including my favourite of all - '2 bad mice remix'. Goosebumps still to this day from these tunes. I notice you haven't done any videos for a long while, which is a big shame...hope you are all good pal.
I was 22 yrs old when you released this! It's totally in bedded in my skull even to this day being 50yrs, your track has been the soundtrack, my go to choon since then.🕊❤💃🕪👊
@Blame 720 This song off moving shadow 02.1 was the very first drum and bass track I ever heard in an HMV in the early 2000s. Nearly 20 years later, and I still regularly listen to it, thanks
Your the original blame guy who wrote this song like nearly 30 years ago??!! You are a talented musician and even the way you talk and introduce the song you stand out from others with a friendly and vibrant attitude! Keep up the good work and keep the videos coming!
@@Blame720 Wow! you look good for your age! was it true that version with seals vocals helped push his career further? loved the video you did with 2 blind mice that was great! sadly I was too young to go to raves in the 90s but I still enjoyed all the classics my sister used to belt out on the old pioneer stack system including this one!
Haha thanks Charlie! I don’t think Seal needed any help from me, he was already an international superstar.. and he was always going to do big things in music!
@@Blame720keep the videos coming! like I said before you are a talented musician and a pleasure to watch! all the best to you and thanks for making some great songs both new and old!
Nice one. I bought a lot of 720 tunes back in the day. I remember hearing you play DJ Addiction's - Bodywerve at the Logical Progression 3 tour in Sankeys in Manchester. Those electricity samples sounded ace in the club.
An old friend randomly picked me up at 05.30 one morning recently, this was playing in the car! when I got in. Safe to say he was nutted reliving his youth!!!
Amazing, just stumbled on this on a Sunday afternoon. Thanks for posting and showing us the genesis of this song. I was there first time round, wrong side of 50 now, but this was up there with the greatest rave songs (all songs?) ever. Absolute monster of a tune, total rush your bollocks off moment whenever it dropped. Still got the original 12" and i'll treasure it forever. Total respect, and great to see the guy responsible for such an important tune.
One of my all time favourites... came out when I was around 5 years old so kinda missed it the first time round. Recently I finally found what appeared to be a mint copy; sadly it had a whopper of a gouge between the two key tracks. So gutted when I had to return it to the seller. Will find a decent copy one day
One of the most symbolic tracks of the hardcore breakbeat era. One that always makes you smile and bring back happier times. Love RUN DMC Mary Mary and all the work you have done Conrad, what's the female stab from
Was just chatting to you on fb about Ware and the like. Just had to play this again. Thinking of shipping my vinyl collection over to Oz. Need to play these again. Cheers
@@Blame720 You're welcome mate. There is still some of us 'first generation' of 'Ravers' knocking around :-) at the tender age of 40. I would greatly welcome a re-release of this track :-)
Took me back to spin in record shop in Manchester. Also Stu Allen on key 103. Where first heard it. Sad new about Stu you know you've got to do something for him. You and 2 bad mice.
Hey Conrad that was really good yeah does brings back some really cool memories. I actually remember that track coming out and I remember you giving me your first CD.
Top man for replying , keep doing what your doing your presenting skills are worthy of tv .the pad sound of LFO LFO was from kawaii k1 arrangement preset . But I still can’t work out what that lead sound is from .could you do a video on your experience when music takes you became massive ? Like how you got the ball rolling in the music scene . 🙂acid house forever 🙂
First of all I would just like you to know that this track is what got me into Jungle and DNB. I was too young to be aware of it when it first came out but it I discovered it through the ''10 Years of Drum & Bass Arena". It was on CD 2, mixed by Grooverider. I have a specific request and would be very grateful if you'd respond, I was watching the 'Hey Good Looking' Documentary and there is a nice futuristic A/V scene put to your music (I think the visual artist was James Ellis). Was this audio/visual work ever released? I have been desperately searching for it but to no avail.
Thank you! This was one of my favourite tunes way back. Especially loved the vocal version with Seal's voice but was almost impossible to get a copy did you do that one? Love your positivity and approach please keep making recreation videos 👊🏼❤️
Liked subbed and shared bro !!!! Now all ya gotta do is gather up all of your releases that are scattered all over TH-cam on other people's channels and ya good to go ;) haha 👌👊
Really struggling with that classic sub bass/ sine wave bass lines used in hardcore on my tracks, I can’t find any info on what or how it was created, any help blame?
Josh B we weren’t that clever at editing back then Josh! We just used basic sine waves and saw waves mixed together. Keep it simple and it works nicely 👍🏻
Man hearing this track still gives me that rush it gave me when I heard it for the first time. Thanks dude for opening my ears to music that changed my life..might get in the loft, dust off the vinyl and give the kids a music lesson.. how about urban shakedown for one of your vids mate.
