Wow, that scenery is bloody amazing at every turn. I'd constantly be stopping to take them sweet sweet snaps with the bike in frame. Great video, mate.
Sweet vid! It definitely takes cojones to tackle a trail like that solo. I can't wait to get back to Moab, I've done some MTB, Jeep and just Slick Rock on my XR600 but hopefully next time I can take my '08 300 XC on some stuff like this trail.
looks like you have been riding for along time. i just turned 15 2 days back and i have been riding for 5 years. i wish you could give me some tips, because i have a hard time maintaining my balance going across those tight narrow rocky spaces.
+Brandon Zgadzaj I'll be in St. George in a couple of weeks. I want to rent a bike at least one day while I'm out there. Do you have any recommendations as to what the best trail would be for a single day of riding? Anything similar to the stuff in this video?
Great vid! That Cliffhanger section looks crazy, you can really get an idea how far down it is off in the distance. A friend and I are planning a trip to Moab later this month, coming up from AZ. Do you have any GPS maps of the trails you would care to share? We would love this.
Check out my website, it's a work in progress but has what you need. Utahmototrails.com. also my old site bogord.com. hope this helps. Have fun out there!
Thanks! I really need to find those Petroglyphs sometime. I have done the trail on an mtb as well, and a rock buggy, numerous times. Dirt bike was the easiest(and most fun) :) I think your 400 would be a perfect tool for it! Hope you can do it sometime!
UtahMotoTrails you know what would be great..... If you guys would stop socially exposing all of our trails that are already over used and being shut down because of environmentalists out number us 1000 to 1.
@@biggbruce123 using a trail doesn't mean it will be shut down assholes that go out and dump garbage closes trails anybody that wants to find these trails will find them reguardless of social media the way I see it the more people we can attract to our sport the stronger our voice becomes and the more trails we can open. we need to invite anybody and everybody to come out and experience just what makes us so happy! Whether the tree huggers want to admit it or not we offroaders and hunters are the stewards of the land we put in and maintain the trails we keep the riffraff out and clean up after them we are the first to see problems and address them when they arise and this bickering between each other serves nothing but to divide us and make our voice that much quieter so hermiting a trail all to yourself while it may keep the environmentalists off the radar temporarily it will only push our sport further into the fringes which in turn means less people riding fewer choices of machines fewer trails and eventually the death of our sport entirely
Have you tried the Kenda Equilibrium Trials & Enduro Hybrid Tire? I'm from Indiana, and going out there for a week in March 2017. Wanted to see your thoughts. Thx!
I have not, sorry. right now I am running the Bridgestone Battlecross X40 on the rear, I've liked it so far. I think I'm still running the Dunlop geomax mx51 on the front. I like the versatility for the terrain out here. it I just ran slickrock I'm sure I would choose different. maxis desert terrain is another top choice for me. I also am using the tubliss system right now.
+jcknepp nuetech tubliss. yes and no. they work really well and for the most part have been hassle free, lately I've had a slow leak in the rear. I need to remove the tire and hope to reseal. most of the time it works just breaking the bead and running some soapy water on the bead to reseal. when they get a good seal they are awesome.
+utahmototrails I can see the frustration in that. I'm just starting to look into tubeless... Jane you ever tried a bib mousse? If so, thoughts? Thanks again, love your videos! :-)
Nice vid. Nice scenery. Which camera did you shoot this with??? Seriously, where you out on this ride alone??? That would be nutzo. I would never do that :). Beeee carful and it did look like you where very capable. Nice.
Bikenut350 thanks. It's a contour, yea riding alone, close to camp and always tell people where I'm going.. My two boys usually ride with me in these scenarios but this was a quick "I need to go ride" ride :) after dinner before sunset, good stuff.
Nice. My wife bought me DeLorme, tracker. She unashamedly says so that they can find the body so she doesn’t have to wait the 7 years to get the life insurance. LOL. Good stuff. Way way up here in the Pacific NW our scenery is totally diff. Bushes, trees, logs, ferns, faces slappers. It’s all good. Fun to ride.

I want to do this trail this spring or fall. Thanks for sharing.

I'll have to do that on the XR650R, looks like a hoot
Do you have a recluse auto clutch? And great video!

+NodnarbRS I'll definitely think of a good one for you today and let you know
Scary! Don't ride alone! But we all do it.
With All The Awesome Things to look at how could you not stop and look at them?

Bikenut350 haha, nice! Gotta get one of those.. For my wife. LOL
What kind of tire combo do you use out there?
I usually prefer the maxxis desert terrain.
Beautiful terrain i would love to ride out there SWEET !
Thanks for the ride!!!...Ride On...CRO
What year looks like a 2008-2010 250xc from what I could see
You're dead on! 2010.
I love ktm I ride a 2012 450sxf right now amazing trail and motocross bikes
Nice video. Like the editing. That one section was sketchy!!!!
Thanks, no rekluse. These ktm 2 strokes don't seem to need them.
agree with you on the rekluse. Most of my riding was this degree and clutch was never an issue with my 530. Just fitness and finesse.
by yourself?!
Yes, this time was by myself. It is a pretty popular trail however..
..This was my first time riding this trail..I returned with some friends recently.
what bike is that
2010 250XC
utahmototrails do u think a 2015 wr250f cud make it
Micah Owens yep:)
utahmototrails nice
KTM dur
great vid, almost like being there :)
That's great riding man but u gotta get on the pipe!!
show us how its done Nathan..
It is to easy to break a leg in this place brother...
It's like ridding on mars man...
The trial to hurrahs pass was better.
lol whats the fucking point in ridng a 2 smoker if its stuck on 3 grand the whole time...
Because a lot of 2 bangers are made for exactly this purpose. Tuned for low end and to be super light compared to a 4 stroke.
dont wanna get whiskey throttle there
Better on a bicycle. See stock jeeps go down that last section.
Asome dad
your riding so slow
Do you see jeeps rock crawling at NASCAR speeds???? Get a clue Yassin, or keep your ignorant comments to yourself.
