That’s the awesome thing about how budget friendly this and the mt07 is, you can spend that extra cash on mods?
How many miles you have on it? New exhaust before 1st service
I had 500 miles at the time of installing the exhaust and had already done the first oil change somewhere in the 400 miles mark.
@Christian Hansen hmm I think I would choose the zx6r as well! Since I’ve gotten my bike, I’ve heard such good things about it, it may be my 2nd bike, or the super duke🤪
@@grayscustoms1825 Are there any options for phone mounting on the R7? it looks like the fork stem is just the nut, or is it a cover that just looks like a nut?
@@reallynothim I need a follow up on that as well, struggling with same issue on my r7, the nut is not removable.

Looks good! Would love to see a head to head on track with the awesome RS660. That from fork sock is pointless rubbish fit for the bin, cos grit will get under it and grind away on the tubes, in turn will cause oil leak through seals.

So likeeee, build list/ Tutorials for some of the stuff?😳 Just picked my R7 up today and wanting to clean up the tail more than anything. Do you need a fender eliminator kit for the integrated tail light or just the tail light?

@@grayscustoms1825 heard that. What's the fastest you've gotten it to? Debating on wether it's fast enough on highway or not to buy or wait for R9
140mph and it has no issue on the highway but if your all about speed just get a r1 but the r7 has more then enough power for the highway.
i am praying they come up with an aftermarket facia, maybe integrated headlights and a leave the intake clear.

But none of the mods are probably legal over here in Germany. Front signals maybe if they have the right certificates.
there might be an exhaust for the mt07 with a cat on it but im not 100% sure
I doubt that they would inspect that. It doesn't look aftermarket at all. The only problem would probably be the loudness with which Germany has stupid laws from what I heard.

They will look for e-Numbers on anything people like to mod, and if they cant find it you'll have a problem.
@@kamprikorn There is, but the r7 apparantly has a slightliy different mounting. So they will be making the exhausts for the r7. Problem is only that the legal akra system costs around 1000€
@@Daniel-dj7fh if police were to inspect every part on your bike it would took like 2 hours lmao nobody does that. They don't care unless you're missing a fucking front light or something. They usually don't even care about the bike at all so as long as you don't have 3 turbos sticking out of the back you're good lol

I got this bike 2 months ago. Looks hella badass and It's a good commute bike. But when I pay it off I'll probably trade it in for a 4 cylinder bike like the r1 or a ninja

@@shane62872 I ordered mine in the UK at Flitwick Yamaha while the first batch orders still was open.
maybe, but I think the mt07 style akrapovic will make it look more symmetric.
I'm not a big fan of low positioned exhaust like this, I like them placed a bit high . I like it better that way

Would it be a good beginner bike for me i have experience in bikes but not too much I’ve been riding my dads bike for one year and a half I wanna get my first bike so I wanted to check the R7 as my first bike, and would you mind giving me some more information of the bike and somethings that I should know before getting it .

If you have experience with street bikes already then the r7 wouldn’t be a bad choice for you first bike. The power on the bike has such a smooth delivery, the bike is super light and nimble. It comes stock with good tires and with the low end power it makes for a good commuting bike. I’ll make a video going in depth on the bike talking pros and cons.

The r3 flush mount tst signals might fit
Is ecu flash required when you put this exhaust?
Not required but definitely recommend. The stock o2 sensor should do a little compensating but it’s recommended to get tuned when installing a full system without db killer.
If you do need to get your ecu flashed I recommend sending it out to bauce racing or moore mafia
for mt07s/r7, 2wdw is the go to person to use since they flash these bikes all of the time.
Second the 2wdw flash. Did my FZ07 after mods and it runs and sounds amazing!
