I remember I used to hear this song on the radio at my granparents house, I can see them there, God bless their souls. This is pure nostalgia of the past, my beloved México!
Even better, there are two melodic lines and he plays both clearly. This is a piece I've played through a few times, never really being able to focus fully on it due to right hand restrictions (had an accident and stretching / contracting movements are still very hard), but once those are gone I'm gonna play this more, it is such a lovely piece.
i know im randomly asking but does someone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account? I was dumb lost the password. I would love any help you can give me
Manuel María Ponce Cuellar (December 8, 1886 - April 24, 1948) was very Impressionistic in this piece, giving us traces of moving Cuban habanera rhythms, Spanish passion plays ("tonadilla escénica"), and handling piano dynamics quite wisely, overall. Excellent performance.
I have a pianist coming to our retirement community to perform and this piece is on his program, so I went looking to hear it ahead of time. Your version of it is absolutely beautiful.
Thank you for showing the hands clearly the whole time! That is so helpful to musicians for learning - we are in a whole new age in education as a result - but also so entertaining to a simple viewer because it allows to choose what to focus on.

Mtro Barton thanks for this Intermezzo by Ponce. I would like to send you an score of Estrellilta (Metamofosis de Concierto) from M.M. Ponce , this score is very dissonant, has a great difficulty and I am sure you can play it and Master it.....and if you are so kind give me/us a tutoring of how to play it, I would love to play it but it is extremely difficult, could you give me a clue, as always you do> and teach me this peace. Thanks in advance if you do it maestro. Could I ask Which email can I send you the score please? Thanks.
This just tears at your heart. What soul this man must have had.

I love how amazingly clear and expressive he plays when the melody switches to the left hand at 0:48

I’ve never heard it played this fast. Is it a race?
Is it just me or is bar 5 wrong? Can someone explain why C sharp and d became c and d sharp???
Nevermind I’m just blind
Trump forgot to mention some Mexicans are pianists and composers.
How do you come up with Trump when listening to this music ;-)
Thanks for that. Just make me a favor. Copy this link and put it on his twiter channel.
I think a beast such as IT is surely doesn't know this kind of mexican compositors.
The ending is written differently. Lang Lang is faithful to the composer’s direction.

What's wrong with you. Just enjoy the music and forget about Trump.
Ramona Walter chill it's a joke
OH sorry about that.
No, me thinks it was Obumma, Killiary, and several other liberal fools who don't like it.
Trump is a beast!
