Pretty sure scotch brite on the outside of the injectors will not help any kind of spray pattern issues or flow issues. Would highly recommend getting them cleaned and tested by a shop while you have them out
Did you ever experience boost cut from this? My speed had this same issue and yesterday I decided to get on it and see if the audible knocking had gotten any worse, and when I did I noticed that my car wasn’t going into boost as it should. This has only happened once so far but I was just curious if maybe you had experienced something similar
Depends, also check ur turbo too if it’s not making boost right. I don’t know anything bout the seals but at least check the turbski and I make Mazdaspeed 3 videos too and gonna be uploading new installs of my new engine mods!! Including 3.5 inch jbr intake, jbr fmic, hpfp internals, and moreeeee
Tom Canino I guess it would’ve been fuel cut given that my injectors are leaking. It hasn’t happened since. But were you hearing an audible knock at wot? I’ve heard of people having bad injector seals that caused an audible knocking noise coming from the engine. I’m going to order my cs seals next week probably and was just trying to make sure that this is indeed what is happening to my speed. The noise I am explaining will only happen at wot. Everything sounds and runs as should whenever I’m just cruising around.
@@fatho8852 update..you do have to losen the bolt enough to give the line some slack to move but dont take it out all the way. You might lose it if you did

Yep, I was gonna suggest similar, you dont want to pry against that machined intake manifold surface.
Yeah and torqueing the fuel rail down onto the injectors using the bolts instead on lubing up the o rings and pushing it on lol I cringed

Any leaks since? Did you replace the o rings and grommet on top of the injectors?
No leaks since and no i just replaced the seals!
Do yourself a favor and click off this video before you break your car and/or waste hours of time.

Could it cause low compression?
MS3 VERYTHING it can cause blow by in the cylinder compartment which can result in lower compression. I would preform a leak down test first tho
Can you re use the seals of you only had them for less than 2k miles
Did you have to remove the bolts to the bracket of the fuel line that goes into the fuel rail?

Not for Gen 2 I think Gen 1 you have to

About 5 hours i was also recording though haha

2 other companies make them and both are cheaper hahah on of them is better
