I mean, he's kinda not wrong zoologically either, bears are in the order Carnivora, but specically classified as Caniformes (aka literally dog-shaped).

I love how weirded out Sakurai was with Banjo&Kazooie, thinking he was going to add playable instruments at first, confusing them with Duck Hunt which lead the trailer, seems like Sakurai would really be mystified at Banjo at first, but man the idea of Banjo using an actual Banjo in his moveset sounds really cool and it sucks we didn’t get that, or even have it as a taunt, it’s just a Victory Animation, same issue Mario just having Cappy as an emote and sometimes when you attack with his Up B.
tbf the only time Banjo every plays a banjo is in the opening of the first game I believe.

Funnily enough, Banjo is one of the most honest characters out of all the DLC, the only thing really making him annoying is the eggs and maybe the Wonderwing, which I wish worked more like it did in the games...

GO is stupid, but you have to do a whole ass input to use them and they tend to be very punishable.
Compared to Arsene who just makes Joker borderline stupid, Kazu Rage which needs no explaination cuz Kazus stupid enough, and many other DLC Mechanics.

Wonderwing would be incredibly obnoxious if it worked more like in the games, you would be able to run around freely and jump while invincible and having a hitbox on you. I do wish the current version was a little better (maybe make it 10 feathers instead of 5 which would also be slightly more accurate) but having the move itself work like it does in the games would not be fun, and I'm saying that as a Banjo main myself

@@alexanderallison584 Well, yes, but Wonderwing in Banjo Kazooie is NOT fast... activating it alone would take some time and it'd be still limited by feathers.
it would mostly serve as a defensive tool as it's probably intended in the original game and not a burst kill move with i-frames.
Also, I would rework the Neutral B eggs too, because the ones Kazooie spits from her mouth don't have gravity, and this change alone would actually make the move less obnoxious to deal with.
I thought this would range from good to bad to cringe since it's Banjo, but it was unexpectedly amazing.

@@awesomeone2779 Banjo needs to be very patient and attack when the opponent makes a mistake or be campy if Banjo can't find an opening. He's kinda like Sonic in a sense.
In Banjo Tooie, boss fights are about running away from the bosses until they expose themselves. It also take about 6 mins to beat the Hag 1 in Banjo Tooie as well.
Also Banjo's nair can sometimes damage characters on shield.
One trick I discovered is that Banjo can edge guard with nair, and if Shockspring jump isn't enough he can use Wonderwing to make it back on stage.
