The reloop is a tank of a TT and looks performs and sounds fantastic,maybe the best iv ever had n iv been listening to vinyl since the 70s so iv lost count how many iv had.
Looks like a great deck. I would do some research for playing 78 speed records with your Sumiko stylus. It may not be designed to track those grooves at that high speed. Great TT upgrade. Thanks for sharing. Greg

Looks like your tonearm has a bit of bounce, how much is too much? My records seemed to bounce a tad too much for my liking, upped the tracking force from 1.7 to 1.8 but still not convinced
After doing some research I will NOT be playing any more 78s with this stylus. Thank you to each of you that mentioned this to me in your comments. That's why I love this vinyl community, always looking out for each other and educating.
Jerry - I received my turntable this week from Crutchfield (identical to yours - even the color!). I am having a real issue with intermittent hum - have you experienced any?
I haven't noticed any humming issues at all with mine. I would research that and see if you need to call the dealer. Definitely don't want an issue like that in a brand new turntable, especially at the price. I know it's not a fortune but it's not cheap either.
Considering an upgrade from my lp60, was thinking of upping the budget for the debut carbon but now tempted to up it even more and get the evo. It’s definitely better, but you reckon it’s worth it in my situation?
@@dynamitedom767 yup, meant the DC. Was eventually “forced” to get the evo as all the DC versions in my country sell around the price the turntable originally launched for, while one shop that sells the evo has it for only around 30 euros more than what the DCs sell for. Getting it in two weeks!
@@MonieMuse yeah turntable labs was a little slow to get the table out the door but they’re a (relatively) small company compared to Amazon so I thought I’d but from them instead. I almost want the matte yellow one too as well as the blue one.... they’re so nice looking 😍

I've learned since posting this video that I should be using a different stylus when I decide to play a 78 so that probably had something to do with the sound. Thanks for watching.

When you say "debut carbon," do you mean the DC model? If so, Id go for the evo 100%.

Its a sumiko rainier cartridge
You should look at turntable set-ups. I heard more plastic than song on the 78.
