Great racing. The Tiny Races are definitely a good workout and challenging. I rode in the early morning session. 3 of the 4 races I did above my FTP and the last one just under.
How about virtual shifting when climbing? Does it help you get correct gear easier? With physical shifting, I feel it is hard to keep cadence > 80 when I shifter to only 1 bigger gear. Using a kickr core like you, my chairing is 52-36, cassette 11s 11-32
I don’t really do much climbing on Zwift, rather go to real mountains 🫣 but if you struggle finding the right gear I would just lower the trainer difficulty, I never have it above 50%
Not that I am even close on your level, but in my experience, unless you want to win actually doing a longer sprint should make you lose less placings... so instead of doing a big snap, trying 600m drag sprint taking the maximum draft of the others.
Did all 4 this past Saturday for the first time and yeah, super tough. Well done!
