The secretary at 11:42 is Tina Mahon, who is best known as Ronnie Birtles in Grange Hill (1985-1991). Patsy Palmer was also in Grange Hill as an extra though her character was called Natasha before she had her big break in EastEnders. Another GH alumnus in Lee MacDonald (aka Zammo Maguire). Just say no.
Poor Bob Cryer never had much luck with shooting related incidents throughout his career. He was closely involved with the failed attempt to talk down a gun man who then got shot by Galloway and co in series 2. Then this incident happened, which also left its mark on him. And finally his career was ended by Smithy when he accidentally shot him in the School hostage episode in 2001.

@@christophermoore753 I forgot about Rose, she was a hottie, but I really dont watch the episodes from her era, it was way too soapy, her (real life husband) Eddie Santini was a very poor actor with the lines he was given (forced to read)
Sergeant Cryer did what any authorised firearms officer had to do, if an officer is confronted with an offender who is armed with a firearm or any weapon and is willing to use it against the officer or any of the officer’s colleagues, then the officer has no choice but to shoot to put the offender down. The way Sergeant Cryer aimed for the offender’s upper torso is standard in police training of firearms use to stop an armed offender and the most important thing to remember for officers being trained in firearms is the first shot fired by the officer doesn’t always put the offender down. Until the offender is down on the ground, they’re still a threat, the second or even a third shot might be enough to stop the offender. And the feeling that Sergeant Cryer afterwards is normal for any officer who had to make the decision to use his firearm to stop an offender, no officer goes to work thinking they are going to use their firearm on to stop an offender in the course of their duty.

Sid Owen who plays Ricky Butcher, has several appearances much later on in the series as a Limousine owner.

In this case he had to shoot.
It's strange how he was the main character, and then he kind of became the side character in that eventually a background character.

Have you kept the scene sterile proceeds to but his case in the mans bodily fluids. Very professional. 🇬🇧👍
Zammo from Grange Hill getting into armed Robberies
Found it interesting they would pass by the road signs and still call it out as the wrong road.

Reg, jumping the gun. 😂
In the days when the cops did a real job keeping the streets safe for all!!!!!
3:34 June asks the man his name and when she does the name check she has his full name and date of birth, all of which he never told her
That's because she's such a great copper.😉

@Qasim Hussain it did change a lot in 1998 then again after the sun hill fire in 2002
Can you settle down your actual dog person.

Burnside back to his best
Well unless you weren't born yes you've got to die of something. Wrong division though.

I'm sorry, but their police cars look like utter shitboxes.

Don't think the guy trying to pick up June gave his DOB
Bianca!
June Ackland never gets any and she dont want anyone else getting any either. If memory serves me right she ended up with an egg.
Whoever wrote the script wasn’t sober. June calls in as 639 when sh3 is 643. Conway identifies himself as 54 when Tom Penny is 54.
You think trudie Goodwin would’ve known her characters call sign by then unless they didn’t realise at the time of editing
Conway’s call sign was ‘Sierra Oscar 54’.
Daft as Panders/Mini Metro’s are not pursuit vehicles

Patsy Palmer/Bianca would of been about 17 when this was filmed
