Это новая версия Российского Гимна, предложенная Градским правительству России и спетая им 20 августа 1998 года на Васильевском спуске в Москве при скоплении 50 тысяч народа. Дело происходило сразу после грандиозного обвала курса рубля, поэтому неудивительно, что название (первоначальное: "Боже нас всех храни") народу понравилось - расходиться не хотели.

This is a new version of the Russian anthem, proposed by Russian singer Alexander Gradsky to the Russian goverment and performed by him in front of the Kremlin, with 50 thousand people present. This happened just after a major devaluation of the Russian ruble, so it's unsurprising that the people liked the title ("God save us all"), and they were reluctant to leave the performance

My mother was born in 1927 in bradford yorkshire her headmistress taught all the national anthems one which was the old tzarist anthem for Russia 🇷🇺 The headmistress refused to teach the soviet anthem saying it was Godless and a blasphemy to God and a anthem born in the bloody deaths of the tzar and his family , my mum could still remember the old anthem in her late 80s and could still sing it , so when I hear it sung in the concerts on you tube it reminds me of my mum who sang that anthem to the fall of communism and she always wanted to see the restoration of the tzarist flag , she lived to see it but not the restoration of the Russian monarchy

To understand why people in Russia do not like democracy so much, look at the chronicle of the 90s in Russia.
In the West, everything was fine, as I know. In our country, hell and chaos were happening. The country was on the verge of collapse and destruction. An explosion in the number of deaths from homicide, drug addiction, the closure of most enterprises, a sharp decline in living standards and life expectancy. And most importantly, the natural population decline has reached its peak in recent years, 200 in the 90s. So, many studies show that the result of all these liberal transformations was such that the population decline is almost equal to the same as we had in the Second World War.
Why does Russia need such a "light"? Before the revolution, it was the same thing; there was no need to idealize the tsarist regime. Here are some examples:
in 1905-1907, 200 thousand. people from the regular army participated in the suppression of PEACE peasant strikes. They used firearms and even artillery. Infant mortality was such that only every second child survived to 3 years of age. Literate in the Russian Empire were 21% of the population. By 1940, thanks to the titanic work of the Bolsheviks, this figure reached> 90%. Under the Bolsheviks, Russia from a backward agrarian country turned into one of the largest industrial giants in just 15 years, thanks to the Stalinist economy, which in fact was perfect. Russia has become the 2nd economy of the world.
Well, well, and now we, like the Russian Empire, are in the margins of the world and live in poverty, losing all the achievements of October 1917. Nobody is giving out housing for free anymore, medicine is also paid, education too.
30 million people in Russia can not even afford to buy bread and soap, 86% of Russians can not afford to buy clothes every month. Do you understand the extent of our poverty? Where we live? Maybe you will finally understand why so many people want to return the USSR

I find the current anthem inspiring, but this anthem would've made more sense since it's seen as a continuation from the interruption that was the USSR.
Putin wouldn't allow it; he still wants to stay as the unique ruler of Russia while he's living.

Kanskje 1812-ouverturen til Tsjajkovskij?
Det kan stemme, siden den opptrer mot slutten av 1812 Overturen, «God Save the Tsar» (1833-1917) var den offisielle nasjonalsangen til det Russiske Imperiet i den perioden.
