Aperture - What is It and How to Use It

Aperture is one of the technical foundations of photography. It helps control your depth-of-field and amount of coming through the lens. My hope with this video is to help explain what it is and get newer photographers out there and use this new knowledge.

man thank you so much. i found a pentax zoom 105R point and shoot i inherited from my grandpa and i’m ready to advance to a SLR. i bought a minolta x 700 on ebay 30 minutes ago. i’m hoping it works well and i know nothing about aperture and only a little about iso. thank you you’re a life saver.
