There are lot of welding videos on youtube, but i enjoy watching yours. Because you mention exatly all the neccesary parts of the welding proces like: how you feed the wire in to the root, angles of the wire trough the gap, keeping the root consistent, feather grinding on the tacks and every stop.....and everything else important to not screw up. I'm about to go to my first test and i fond your videos very valuable and helpful. Thanks for sharing 🙏
Thank you my friend. I like to narrow it down to plain talk, and pointing out what is important to you guys. Good luck with your test, and thanks for your support 👍
Best advice I got for my tig root test was not to have a tack at 6 on the bottom, to push that 6 tack back almost an inch to your weak side, so you can do more with your dominate hand on the bottom. How did your test go?
Oh man, super cool video, first time I saw that silicon forming on the back side. Thanks for taking the time and effort to show us how a pro does it, plus your explanations are spot on!
Excellent video brother!! You are next level and from all the channels I enjoy yours the most. Your explanations are spot on, and love the fact that English is not your first language and still you manage to explain it so well. You got yourself a devoted follower man! ✊🏾🔥
Hey my friend I really appreciate you alot. You are one of my favorite followers and you, and others like you are the main reason why I keep going with my videos.🙏💪
Skills are amazing and your explanation is no nonsense and to the point. Great job. I just came across your videos and let me say your one hell of a welder. I’ve kinda got in a little groove where if it’s not broken don’t fix it. I’ve gotta try some of your techniques.
Found very interesting and like the positive energy of the option of other techniques depending on the welder Very informative and constructive for new learners
Thank you for posting your videos, you are a great welder. If possible could you please post a video on how you do you close up or final tie in on stainless steel pipe. 6” sch 40 or thicker? Showing how you further the tie in and technique used once you weld up to the tie in? Thanks very much

Nice. I have never beem able to make that back feeding method work very good for me tho. I always end up falling through and boogerin' it up. But my question is how is he watching this as he's puttong hisnroot in? Through the top down? Where you would have to feel for how you're working your cup? Or from tye botton whereas you cant really see what your filler rod hand is doing? I always tried doing this by watching my cup and it always inevitably falls through. uggghh!! I envy these guys who can backfeed well! 😩
@@X3MTIG excellent i’ve been messing around with this different techniques at work it’s great for keeping the root cleaner looking from silicone as to when you dip dip dip the root looks dirty 👌🏻
Very good video . I have a question , I am doing 5G schedule 80 6inch pipe with a 3/16 gap 105 amps 1/8 wire , on my 6 and 3 o clock my puddle gets build up and I can’t go up , do you have a tip ?
@@lalo2720 what I would do and it might help might not, but put your wire more on the outside of the bevel. I do about 70/30 inside/outside on the bottom, then once I get to about 8/4 o clock I start bringing that wire towards the outside of the bevel the higher I go. Gravity is gonna pull it in. Hope that makes sense and helps. You don’t have to push feeding like that, just enough to keep the puddle fed.
Love the vid s man, quick question when you restart the bead with a 7018 I notice it looks like you don't chip the slag where you restart? Is that not necessary? Thanks 👍
I think what you might be referring too is called the oxidisation on the inside surface of the root. Thats just atmosphere reacting too the weld pool on the inside. The only way to stop it is to purge the pipe completely. But with that much penetration on the root, there is usually no need.

Good video. Narration is on point. I wish the background music was toned down some. Thanks.
Thanks bud for your comment 👍
Awesome skills bro
❤ fantastic great job and good weldar
what’s your thoughts if you do loose connection with the root while welding? just continue get the wire back into puddle? or stop grind and continue?
Just continue on by adding wire back into the puddle!

@@X3MTIG thanks buddy I bn trying to learn pipe welding for ages I got my first test for a job in a week or so all help is much appreciated 👍
When welding the rootpass does the feeding rod gets stuck if it touches the bevel on the upper side?
Only if your gap shrinks
Good job
❤beautiful
Are you not getting suck back if you run hot pass and fill pass the same time?
No, that’s why I like a little heavier root.
Sir very good
Would like to see you do that in position if possible
sorry rutpass how much fire should i use for Tig
Hi guys can someone describe for me what is a double coded welder
Super 👍
Kapak atarken 2.5 elektrod kullanırsan daha güzel ve estetik durur.
Any tips on tie in the tacs?
Feather them out and go slowly over them, adding wire and pause on the sides
Is that perocity on the inside? if its not is there a way it can be fixed?
There is no porosity inside! Fixing what exactly, if there’s nothing to be fixed!?
