Digital Inputs Arduino Tutorial #3 - Elegoo Uno R3 Basic Starter Kit

This video shows me completing the third lesson of the Elegoo basic starter kit tutorials. In this one we use two push buttons as digital inputs to control an LED.

The Elegoo Arduino basic starter kit is a really good and cheap piece of kit, allowing anyone to quickly get started using Arduinos and Breadboards. I particularly enjoy the tutorials the company has created to use along side their kits. In this video series I will complete all the tutorials for the Basic Starter Kit.

Thanks man. I recently bought this kit and have absolutely zero experience with any of it lol. I've been able to work through the instructions but didn't quite understand why certain things were done in a specific way. Hearing you talk through it has helped my comprehension.

yeah the instructions are ok but were difficult for me as a beginner. I thoroughly enjoyed the kit though. Once you finish this one you got to get the most complete kit. Its really good!

I was confused why pushing the on button multiple times wouldn't switch it back and forth between high and low. That quick statement about it only going from high to low when the button is pushed (and back to high when released) helped it make sense to me. Confirmed by holding down the off button while tapping the on button to make the led blink. Thanks!
