- In this video I continue the Elegoo 'The Most Complete Starter Kit' tutorials, doing the LCD screen tutorial. I enjoyed this one. It's probably essential for most projects so I'm glad the code was nice and simple.
You can find my code for this project on my github: github.com/hadefuwa/elegoo/

The Elegoo Arduino 'Most Complete Starter Kit' is a really good but slightly expensive piece of kit. I paid around £50 for it on Amazon but totally worth it in my opinion. They come with PDF tutorials allowing anyone to quickly get started using Arduinos and Breadboards. In this video series I will complete all the tutorials for the Most Complete Starter Kit.
Subscribe for more as I'll be posting a lot more Arduino content.

I thought I was going crazy with the LCD Display! Thanks for the clarity. Love your videos :D
This was the best video on this topic I saw
Thank you. The POT that comes with the kit as seen @ 6:04 was a problem for me. I was seeing a bad connection as you did @ 10:36 -- "I don't have a good connection somewhere." I suspected the POT. In addition to the flickering, after a few loops the LCD would start mixing in gibberish with the message. I replaced the POT with a better one. Now and $$ later all is running as expected. Keep up the good work.
Thanks a lot Hamed! It worked perfectly for me!
You're welcome :)
when i try making it in tinker card it says current through black light led is 7ka while the max is 20ma i made sure every wire any everything is in correct place
This is great! Thanks man!
You're most welcome 😊
So helpful thank you
When I initially hooked it up it didn't work because the pins were not hooked up correctly. I looked at the comments in the code to see what was supposed to go where and it worked. Thanks for putting this out.
You're most welcome, the kit is great, the instructions not so much lol
this was very helpful
Thanks 😊
i love to try this!!!!!!
Give it a go, I was just doing some Arduino stuff for the first time in months and it's always fun
you're a G bro
Hello! I wired everything and copied your code directly, but the screen won’t print the text. The cursor just moves from one side to the other. Do you know how to fix this?
With Arduino, can you make this and then dissemble it to make something else?
great good tutorial works great bets other u tubers
Thank you ❤️
Hey , I was wondering if you have to use the jumper wires because I saw that you showed something that would make it a lot cleaner and I was wondering what they are called.
hey these are also called jumper cables, heres a link to them amzn.to/3ATlmWC
@@HamedAdefuwa thank you very much
When i try to upload it says "redefinition of void setup()"
👌👌
I followed steps, lcd turns on but will not display
WHat is the name of the file?
You can use that font in Minecraft.
does the lcd come with the I2C module?
I got this all as part of the Elegoo starter kit.
@@HamedAdefuwa ok but
There is a special module for the lcd called the i2c
Is it included
I don't know what you're referring to but i2c is a communication protocol not a device. Perhaps you mean an OLED display? In which case no an OLED is not included.
Doesn't show me the words or anything.
same wtf no text
hey guys my code is here github.com/hadefuwa/elegoo/blob/main/HelloWorld.ino
hopefully you got it to work, if send me a link to ur code and ill take a look for u
@@HamedAdefuwa Lit thank you man, you're the best.
You're most welcome
Hello man i have the blue screen only, without text can you help me? I copied your script
