This 66 Mustang has a smashed rear corner. I bought a 1/4 panel from another car along with a lot of new parts from NPD. I'll fix it and probably paint the whole car.
Yes, it is a big job and won’t be easy. One thing I learned from a great welder. He said never worry about making a wrong cut because you can weld it back together then cut it correctly. That tidbit makes things easier. Just do it and correct it if needed. Push on and see it through.
@@RW-bi2rp I’m sorry. It is too late. I cut it. The rest of it is for sale if you want to buy it. Here is the thing. When I fix My cars I fix them the way that makes the most sense to Me. When you fix cars, please do fix each and everyone correctly. Thanks for watching.
Love the name of the garage 😂 I've been a mechanic by trade for 50 years and I can tell that a working man's shop when I see one . By the looks of the stuff around your lab I can see you are a working man . Much respect 😎👍
@@dansmessygarage6720 Haha, I would have it I wanted another project car. We (my girlfriend and I) ended up finding a white manual 65 with the 200 in Farmington Hills and we love it!

Don't waste that original replacement quater panel by cutting a piece off it! use the complete panel and do it properly.

Thank you sir! It is always a mess but I know where everything is (well, most everything).
I think I seen this for sale on marketplace
You most likely did! That is where I saw it and obviously bought it from.
The rear valence accepts a clip in stud at each bottom corner fastened by a nut inside. AMK Products sells them along with the valence screw sets.
I bought the valance panel screw and clip kit from NPD. I have everything I need. Thanks for the recommendation.
B I g job i did a qaurter panel on a 60 ranchero and spliced the other quarter bottom. Have fun
Yes it is a big job but I'll get it done and have fun doing it. :-)
I saw the same car listed on marketplace a couple weeks ago lol, considered buying it and fixing it myself😂
You should have bought it. It runs and drives Great!
