Wow, such a beautiful place with a stunning view. I'll put this one on the list if i ever go to Poland. Nice video Jay & Carolina. Greetings from Indonesia. 🙂
We are so happy that you are still watching us from the countries we once recorded in ❤️ Definitely Zakopane should be on your list - as well as Krakow and Warsaw, and if you have more time then a short trip to the Baltic Sea would be good too :)🌊
Very happy memories of Zakopane, especially the very distinctive, traditional wooden houses and churches. We found a small traditional low-ceilinged restaurant all made of wood and kept having bowls of incredibly filling and very good value polish mountain soups.
Glad you enjoy it! I'm always the most excited coming to Poland when thinking about the food 😍 It's usually home-cooked and very wholesome! even in restaurants, you can taste how fresh the ingredients are 😋

I saw the same views as you did from Krakow to Zakopane by bus. We took many pictures. We really enjoyed the city. The food was fabulous. That ticket booth for the lift to the upper part of the mountain has changed quite a bit. Its been 8 years for us. We went in June and as we were ascending we passed many many people walking up. While we were up in the mountain we stopped at a place that made and sells Oszczypek. When we walked in hut I thought the cheese was bread. I had never seen anything like it. We bought several and brought them home with us. We stopped at a place similar to the one you did. We went to a place near our hotel that had live music from local musicians and we had dinner there also, all local food. They played traditional Goral music and talked a little about the customs and traditions of the area. I got to dance with a young local lady in their traditional dance. Fun and awkward. Were the locals speaking your dialect or were you speaking theirs? I know there is a bit of a difference. Our tour guide was our interpreter and he said the locals were speaking in his dialect.

I don't understand the title. Why is it hard to believe it's Poland? What? Because we are the third world🤨? We never had anything to be ashamed of. Our cuisine, our traditions, our hospitality, our pride. We have mountains, valleys, rivers, lakes, forests, national parks, sea, forests and even a desert. Poland is clean and safe. If it's hard for you to believe that this is Poland, I wonder what your opinion was about us before.🙄
This is not what we meant at all. I’ve been to Poland many times but never to Zakopane and I was surprised that a place like Zakopane existed in Poland because it’s so unique in its landscapes - I’ve only seen views like that in New Zealand! You have to remember that Poland isn’t a popular tourist destination so not many people know how beautiful Poland can be like you said with the valleys, rivers, forest, sea etc. We are doing our best to show Poland to the world - may I ask if you even enjoyed the video? 😅
