Have no college education at all, but am self-educated. The pandemic reignited an old interest in microbiology and I found TWIV. I'm 83 years old and I'm fascinated. I watched the series last year but twice can't hurt, so I'm watching on You Tube again. I also watch your weekly science paper reviews and the weekly clinical updates. Thanks for keeping my mind alive and curious.
Thanks Vincent, this is very valuable information which everyone should know. Unfortunately we cannot live in the fantasy world of some non science believers.
Thank you, Professor, excellent lecture. At 81+ I may be your oldest student. Because of health issues, I am just going to audit. With Caligula at the helm, I think we are guaranteed another epidemic within the foreseeable future
Hi @Vincent Good to 'catch'the latest version. ;) Do you think that the rise in Norovirus cases might be due to the popularity of whale watching, nowadays?

Hey, Vincent. Wasn't the case fatality rate of naturally acquired smallpox around 30% and variolation closer to 1-2 %?
On January 14, the WHO issued a notice of a Marburg outbreak in the Kagera region in northwest Tanzania, which includes nine cases and eight deaths.
