I too left after they slandered Jeremy in the media. I only rejoined the party because of Faiza. I'm leaving and never ever voting for them again after the way they've treated her. They don't deserve the votes of working people. Starmer can have his yes-men around him, it won't help him run a successful government.

Maybe Starmer is not wanting to unseat IDS, maybe he's worked out a deal with his tory pal. Nothing would surprise me about Starmers "new Labour". They've not shown any enthusiasm to rescind the terrible policies that the tories imposed on the most vulnerable in society. I doubt a Labour gov is going to be any different from what the British public have had for the last 14 years. And Streetings vision for the NHS is looking like he's pinched some tory idea's for it!

The facade has fallen off this Starmer Labour. If I was her or Diane I would run as an independent. I encourage everyone to send a message to both Labour and Tory parties by getting out there and voting for an independent candidate. Instead of having a 40% turn-out because of distain for both, let's show our distain with the size of the independent share of the vote.

Most of the remaining placemen were touted round the UK till a a Constituency took them on. The current Wakefield MP got picked after the out and out local favourite committed the heinous crime of ‘liking’ a Jeremy Corbyn tweet so therefore was banned from the contest.
