Its amazing Josh made it to the Lost River's South Blood Kelp entrance without seeing either of "them" yet. Hasn't even seen the creature with the best sound design.
At this point I'm almost thinking they've been maybe modded out.... but they won't do that. They've just been very (un)lucky.
Honestly, making it to the Aurora without seeing *him* is by itself a feat.

i do like how josh is slowly but progressively getting braver as time go's on, although i do worry how he'll react if he ever finds an ecological dead zone.
The rest of the Cyclops fragments can be found in the mushroom biome and near the tail end of the Aurora.

I gotta say, the crabs basically pulling a 'Puss in Boots' by walking on each other to attack was quite surprising. At least when the Cyclops is complete his concerns about the depths will relax some given he'll feel safe in his big and strong ship. *Gives a thumbs up and a questionable smile*

the large room is actually from the sequel of this game, it was apparently so popular that they transfered it to subnautica along with the room partitions that came along. also the glass dome and the dome for the multipurpose room are from there. You get them from the start on. And I think they also added something to build them on land more efficiently because the sequel had more land areas than the prequel, but also has more dangers on the land than just a few alien spiders that do like idk 2 dmg? But prequel is heavily sea based while sequel is 40/60, lots in the sea but a good chunk on land too.

My favorite part about this series is seeing Josh and cotton piece the lore of the game together wether it be through concrete evidence or just guesses and seeing what they get right
The Seamoth intro was lovely, and I like how since the warper came around episodes onward were of concern of the warpers mainly. Now to see them actually do more threatening things.

I‘m a bit sad that Josh might never see the big R. He is far enough in the game to not have to enter its areas anymore afaik and he’s not going to of his own volition. Then again if he had it might have caused him to drop the series.

@frozenbear0991 I think he would've deleted the game the moment he heard the reaper being that close. I can say it's their blissful ignorance that they had didn't hear. However, he has major luck, which may look like plot armor due to him not seeing any leviathan early on.

Josh saying something about a deep base made me think of building a base on t̵̪̒̓h̴̠͔́e̷̡͛ ̵̰͙̊̂ę̷̯͐̔ḏ̴̐̋g̸̺̋̐ę̷̖͑ as a sendoff to the series
So Josh, you can dock your seamoth and your prawn inside the cyclops. Sadly just one at a time, but you can take the cyclops and prawn down much much further into the depths. Use those for exploring.
also cyclops hull fragments are near the aurora at the back of the ship, front, and in the giant tree mushroom zone near the ship.
these warpers are hilarious, it's such an odd but interesting game. that relationship advice message is still probably the funniest thing they showed off so far.
josh, I'll be real, you've grown so much compared to the start of this game, the blood kelp is probably the 2nd or 3rd most horrifying place in this entire game, congrats.
Scan some fossils whenever you get down there. Also, if you want more power, put more solar panels. And one more thing If you wanna find the rest of the degasi that crashed. Search The end of it, which is the jet dusters. And follow along the path of the position that it crashed to find the rest.
Yay, my favorite mechanic of the warpers.
Josh seems to have done a pretty good (albeit unintentional) job of avoiding some of the really scary horrors up until now. But he's starting to get there with the zappy backs and Warpers.
For someone whose so terrified of the thought of thins rushing up trying to kill him, Josh seems strangely fine with putting a large number of windows on his safe space.

I’d suggest getting the Cyclops before going any further, it will really aid your exploration.

I've seen so many other people play Subnautica, but this is honestly one of my favorites so far. Maybe cause it's Josh and Cotton playing together, maybe it's watching him slowly confront his phobia, maybe it's the surprises that have been avoided miraculously and the screams that will come

Just so you know Josh, There are Crashfish eggs you can find. They (along with the eggs of any other creature) will hatch after a period of time if left is an Anlien Containment unit. Crashfish and any other creature placed in the ACU will be completely passive to you, meaning you can scan them without worrying about being harmed.
Though if you try to release the Crashfish they will swim away at freaking lightspeed! XD I usually use them as fuel for a Bioreactor.

Josh is actually doing exceptionally well for someone with thallasophobia! I saw another streamer play this game as a Patreon goal, and she freaked out so badly that she could barely go into the water and stress vomited after the stream. Compared to that, Josh is a golden sea god.
Also, you should really build some extra power. A bioreactor, a nuclear reactor, more solar panels, literally anything since your current power is not remotely enough to support a Seamoth, a Prawn, and especially a Water Filtration Machine.

You should definitely get the Solar Charger in your Seamoth. Also, fun fact about the Perimeter Defense System:

This has been a lot of fun to watch. I kept up with the development of this game so it's great to see it with fresh eyes (and screams of terror). Makes me excited for when Josh gets into some of the deeper biomes.

I will say the Cyclops is your next the thing to make because it is big enough to hold your prawn suit which will make it easier to explore deeper without worrying about not being able to climb in the prawn suit when you can just have the Cyclops near by to dock the prawn suit.

The PDA even put them in the clues section, if I remember correctly
They'll figure out where to go, something I love about the game is it guides you in many subtle ways down deeper based on story progression, better tech requirements, and the natural drive of curiosity...

One thing to mention:
The Cyclops has a dock for the prawn suit, so if you manage to find the remaining pieces you can use that to carry the prawn arround.
However: Technically, now that you have the prawn outfitted like that you pretty much beat the game, as you can simply outrun and outgrapple any big predator that could threaten you, or just latch onto it and drill away till its dead.
Though thats a bit against the spirit of the game...idk, decide for yourself:
Build the Cyclops as your massive uboat to serve as your mobile base forevermore, which carries the prawn arround so you dont have to run everywhere, or just swing away like an underwater Tarzan and make the sealife your plaything.

pro tip josh, make a second grappling arm for your prawn and you'll never struggle with up again! It's the fastest mode of transportation with two grappling arms too!
