Cheers Paul, I've been fishing a lot lately but struggling to find time to make the videos, I'm fishing as I type lol. Cheers for watching and commenting.
Hope to be at West Bay next Wednesday all being well. I've seen reports that the fishing at Studland and Shell Bay is quite good, have you ever been to either of these?. I caught a huge conger near the ferry at Studland a good few years ago.
Hi Anthony, no I haven't fished or even been to Studland, it's over an hours drive from West Bay and there are plenty of places to fish around here. I'd be interested to learn how you get on there though, would you let me know? Good luck.
Hi Mark, I was using a Penn Spinfisher Long Cast (LC) 6500 with 30lb braid. I have 2 of these reels and I really like them because the line lay is superb and the reel is very smooth and fast.

Hi Rob, what reel are you using???

Just noticed your name, are you related to Richard and Tasha?
Hi Rob, no dont know them, I use the old Penn Surfmaster 70's superb reels even though they are 30 years old@@1RodRob
@@markjarvis7637 Penn make great reels full stop. You certainly are getting the best out of yours.
To true, most modern reels are all plastic gears, also have 3 Penn carp reels, about the same age, very heavy but strong.@@1RodRob
