2003 Dodge Neon 2.0 Wont Start or Crank

Started as an occasional wont start wont crank but if you keep turning the key several times..it will start at times..then it came to the point of no return and it wont start at all.
Going by the factory manual and tracing the electrical wiring for the starting system and it points to 2 big priced items..Enjoy..S6E232
