Getting Russian visa for an Englishman is just a pleasant journey comparing to getting British visa for a Russian.

Russia is one of the few major countries that Brits need a visa for - normally we are allowed 90 days free. I think countries like people from wealthy nations visiting their countries.
@Mstislaw AA I'm gonna dissapoint you, but numbers for at lest 2017 aren't that pretty for Russia, they lost 10 million since 2013. Just check some statistics yourself. I haven't found the most recent 2018 year statistic, but 2017 is good enough to paint the picture.

For instance: if u are from Novosibirsk, you are not going to get respected by the native Moscow people because they have a belief that they are a “high rank nation” and that you are low and don’t belong here. If you travel a few kilometers from Moscow, there poverty and visions are not at all those in the capital of Russia.

Oh I soooo wanna see Russia. I actually had plans with a friend, wantng to do the transsiberian/transmongolian railway from Moscow all the way down via the lake Baikal and Mongolia to Beijing and finishing up on the great wall, but not 6 days straight on a train (that would drive me crazy), but with some 24h stops in various cities en route. However that is very expensive, so for starters we'll probably to a part of it, maybe a train from Moscow to St. Petersburg. This country is just vaaaast!

I have been binge watching these videos and am amazed with how slick Simon is. Shoot if you watch Bald and Harold in Mexico you would think Simon was a dweeb....which he most certainly is not. I'm glad I decided to check him out. Bald and Harold were like two highschool boy picking on there less than superior friend. Russian visa process was a nightmare for you? Ask Russians what they have to go through to get a British visa. It's not a nightmare for them, it's a real hell.

I just found this channel last Friday and can't think of how to describe what Simon's done here in two words other than to call it "permanent virality."
Using more words, I'd describe it like this:
The hook is obviously doing things most people will never do. All the better if they think it is impossible, like scoring six figure ringside access to a Vegas fight or traveling around the world in proper posh style, for free.
After I watched my first of Simon's vlogs, the 2017 Vegas fight, I wasn't sure what I just seen. Then I immediately binged a truckload of no money challenges, the epic seven wonders trip, and the race to Monte Carlo. After quickly seeing and deducing they are real, I recognized even calling what Simon's doing here "brilliant" doesn't do it justice because he's put ideas in my head that made me rethink all my relationships with both money and people.
Taking into account everyone who has yet to see and be impacted by Simon's vlogs as I have, their potential positive power is incalculable. So, I am not surprised at all they have blown up the way they have, nor am I surprised Simon's subscribers have responded as they have on his no $ challenges, because many of them aren't just subscribers. With the subset of subscribers who experienced the same emotional and intellectual enrichment I did after watching the first batch of his vlogs, Simon went from stranger to friends for life, leapfrogging all the steps in between.
Additionally, starting with the 2017 Vegas fight, all the vlogs on this channel are a masterclass in video and audio production, content, and editing.
I'll end this comment with the reason why I choose this particular vlog to post it to.
I think the sequence in this vlog when Simon passes right through the final security checkpoint in the stadium video game convention is pure platinum. Simon had to pass through a small "building" with metal detectors packed with at least eight event staff, including a virtual wall of at least four right in front of the last door. After cleverly asking the guard outside the front door of the "building" whether or not he speaks english, Simon confidently tells him he works there then swiftly enters after the guard opens the door for him. I love this because it's Simon in the thick of it and in top gear, ensuring his successful exit with the strategic deployment of his now infamous "Hi, how are you? You ok?" line.

Actually it's not a big issue, they had checked his backpack and what he had on his body, so there was no major threat. There's also no any spy-like threat, any plans of the stadium can be easily bought, so this is ridiculous.
