Ahh, the yellow and blue Pacific & Western color scheme- a nice reminder of the locomotives here in Jersey. Good job as always, Ervan... and "hi" as well :P!
Great vid! Did I see a couple of Northern Pacific wood chip cars towards the front end of that train? I LOVE the NP! It's so seldom you see anything in the origional NP livery anymore, that this was a treat for me. (LOL Doesn't take much to entertain me, does it)?! LOL Have you ever videoed any ex NP engines still running that you know of? Of course they would not be in origional colors, so it would be hard to tell. Thanks for the vids. Dale
Very nice. That car sway looks like about 8 to 10 inches. Are you sure this is not a railroad in one of those Third World countries where the owners keep the profits for themselves and let the rail bed rot? Anyway, I guess it is cheaper to fix a derailed train that to maintain the tracks so higher speeds are safe.
Why not on the sunny side of the train? After the train passed, I would have zoomed in to show the wobble. Cannot see it well. Better to pick up the camcorder still attached to its tripod and hold it and zoom out and aim. Nice the way you panned around to show the area.
I really enjoyed the pictures. Interesting that the train shakes a lot in the stretch near the level crossing. You were very close to shooting coragem'por wagons. Note 10.
Nice one Ervan, not only was the train Rock N Rolling, but it shook the ground beneath your feet.......excellent....Bob
Gotta love rail transport. One engine powering all that diverse freight. There should be more of this.
Hello Oregon, thanks for sharing your great videos , take care

nice video
Nice Video.
That train was shaking pretty bad. I don't know if I would want to be that close to the tracks.
This is my favorite crossing! So geil! :)

Portland and Western Fox Crossing. Total axle 208. No alarms.
Thank you for your comment

Aw, so that's what the 3051 use to sound like !
Top nice Video!
holy crap! It looked like the cars would of derailed, like car #2 and 3 for example
That horn my ears popped
They wobble from side to side a lot!
Total axels: 208
Looks like it is a Ex-KCS Unit that was switched to P&W in the late 1990s
This is the track, that is the one that replaced the Rex hill line, right? I miss trains coming through Sherwood.
Is this railroad still being used?
+Erika Martin Yes, the track is a little better
Yes, I agree
Wow that's pretty scary.
This is crossing 067074E, Fox Ln. S, Salem, OR.
One time I did see and film the SP4449 steam engine on this line. If you look at my most viewed video you can see it
That can't be safe for people at the crossing. Do they have any intention on repairing the crossing any time soon?
It did feel that way
It is one of mine also
That is the way some of spikes are around here
I was to close
I was worried
Yeah, I did not feel very safe being there. They do work on the track but it doesn't seem to help
Do you really need to ask?
there's nothing wrong with that
scary horn
Imagine if t hi is was at night it would have been even more scary
Thank you
Thanks
