Mark is seriously one of the best drummers to ever sit behind a kit, that I’ve witnessed anyways. He’s always RIGHT on top of the beat, precise but wild, has a crazy arc, and when things get complicated where a lot of drummers slow down JUST a little, he mows right through those bits. Like a harder hitting Gabe Serbian in alot of ways (RIP Gabe you titan of talent).
A friend from Bellevue and I played backyard football with The Blood Brothers in like 1998. Who was the first time I ever met those guys and they were super cool.
unlike your diaper, which i can only assume is as good at stopping itself from spewing unnecessary crap "i like music ow that i liked before" fuck off. i'm a year older than you. respect our elders, you dumb, little bitch
@TheMartyr86 I live for TH-cam commenters such as yourself who casually drop these life altering pieces of information. I will think of you, kind stranger, when they get on stage. Thank you.
Goddamn I miss the Blood Brothers. Been listening to em since high school and I'm in my 20's now. The first time I saw them live right after Crimes came out was amazing!
TheTelefony listen to Love Like Electrocution, With Horses in Her Eyes (band), Hot Cross, early Fear Before, Circle Takes the Square, soooome HeavyHeavyLowLow.
I get what your saying. In some songs, one of two things seem's to happen. Johnny sings way, way more then Jordan, or Johnny's voice overshadows Jordan's when they are singing together. And I enjoy hearing Jordan sing to, so that makes sense.
The thing about the Blood Brothes is no one really sounds like them. They definatly have their own style that makes them near impossible to classify into a genre. They aren't really indy, they aren't really hardcore, they aren't really screamo. They are just the Blood Brothers.
Adrienne Camus Haha wow you are a legend for pointing that out, I've been listening to these guys for years and now all of a sudden I can't not imagine Stewie when the second singer pipes in
megaiantastic no, it was legitimate screamo or 'skramz' that was far more experimental than the usual. This inspired so much Skramz, emo and post-hardcore to expand and push their boundaries. They're like if Love Like Electrocution was more put together with their melodies and cleaner vocals.
for the sake of music video and understanding psychology, belief on only two sides to a brain and not multiple parts to a greater whole, meant for spinning, not spinning, not spinning
For a second I thought one of the singers was the guy that plays Howard in the big bang theory. (Is it Howard? I dunno their names) And the other one looks like the guy that played Moriarty on Sherlock!
Without Johnny this band wouldn't be as popular as it is. Actually, I like his singing better then Jordan's. Trust me, without Johnny I would not care about this band, he add's that extra uniqueness with his singing.
Fair enough you think that, but just because you said it, everyone who loves the blood brothers isn't going to think that. So why post it, I think heaps of bands are shit, but i don't watch there videos or post it.
:) you asked for it that was my sad attempt at making a joke. sorry you hate the song or watever but you really took my comment WAAAY too personaly, rofl. its pretty hillarious how opinoinated you are.
after all these years, i still have yet to find a band that captures the same energy as the blood brothers. incredible stuff
I first saw these kids play one of their first gigs in a rented church hall years ago. I’m 42 now and they still hold solid.
They most defiitely do.

Well said
He's a very fast loud octopus indeed

unlike your diaper, which i can only assume is as good at stopping itself from spewing unnecessary crap "i like music ow that i liked before" fuck off. i'm a year older than you. respect our elders, you dumb, little bitch

There will never be another band quite like The Blood Brothers.
38 and still listening to bands from this great time.
Only The Blood Brothers and At the Drive-In have managed to capture this raw unhinged unique power
2:27 those screams make me feel like I'm 15 again (26now) gdamn this song so good for their time.
Shame they broke up. Young machetes was/is an amazing album. Futuristic punk in a way
JG Show ended before they could have fucked up. Amazing band. This band was my teens
How can you not love this? 6 years and I still love em.
def one of my favorite bands of all time.
paigeygrey

2020 and still one of the best new aged punk bands out there. just shot me back to highschool hard haha
They rock dude!!!
Why I love The Blood Brothers: They sound like no one else
Why I hate The Blood Brothers: They sound like no one else
TheTelefony listen to Love Like Electrocution, With Horses in Her Eyes (band), Hot Cross, early Fear Before, Circle Takes the Square, soooome HeavyHeavyLowLow.

Dude I don't know if weed is just making this sound better, or if it just naturally sounds this good o;
I want them back!!!
Yeah, somebody told me that after I had posted my comment. They both rock
that's post-hardcore how it should be
I do listen to them all day. haha
i love them!
I get what your saying. In some songs, one of two things seem's to happen. Johnny sings way, way more then Jordan, or Johnny's voice overshadows Jordan's when they are singing together. And I enjoy hearing Jordan sing to, so that makes sense.
I just watched John Carpenter's The Thing and this reminds me so much of it right now
wow
they recorded my sister having a tantrum and put it down as the main lyrics.
interesting but painful.
the memories! Dx
Every single piano I ever met in my life...
Because you’re UNKILLABLE
CALLED IT
kind of remind me of the locust
@xOraidenStarx I feel you, I listen to stuff from Morbid angel, to Death in June, to Dalek and this rocks.
oh i love mr whitney and his voice :D
The thing about the Blood Brothes is no one really sounds like them. They definatly have their own style that makes them near impossible to classify into a genre. They aren't really indy, they aren't really hardcore, they aren't really screamo. They are just the Blood Brothers.
The start is heavily inspired by Gruppo Sportivo’s “Rubber Gun”
So. Good.
10years? Goddamn.
Fuck life when this song came out.
@gmez1989 Read that again. He said from Crystal Castles to classical music to stuff LIKE btbam and HHLL.
Gladiators is a bomb song too!
I agree with absolutely everything in the top comments.
@goobag123 ahhhh thanks for the recomendation
Is it just me or does it seem like this video was directed by Tetsuo: The Iron Man?
Looking for this comment
Old favorite, yay for good screamo.
Aaron Jordon Do you know who PG.99 is? That’s screamo, that’s what he means.
Such a beautiful bridge.
Anyone know who the director was for the video?
@canteenboy94 check out head wound city, which has members of both blood bros and the locust in it... they are awesome
What was bad about it? Just wondering, I haven't seen them live yet.
liked the keyboard intro... not gonana say anything bad
I miss my youth. There is always Neon Blonde I suppose.
I just realized that one of the dudes (the one with the lower voice) kinda sounds like Stewie Griffin. ._.
Adrienne Camus Haha wow you are a legend for pointing that out, I've been listening to these guys for years and now all of a sudden I can't not imagine Stewie when the second singer pipes in
holy shit I cannot unhear it now haha! 10/10
fuckin nerds.
some one post the lyrics please!
can i have it?
Hearing the song with two electronic devices...
whats this song about? :S
faintly cool, thats all theyve got.
@gmez1989 btbam is extremely different from heavy heavy low low. like, they arent even comparable
when i saw them the guy with the beard and fro played guitar not bass
11 years later and the misspelled title still bothers me.
Puck that's how you spell it in British, like "realised" etc...
J. Levi C. Ok but this song isn't spelled like that.
It's so unfortunate that they broke up.
Sounds pretty different to most Seattle bands.
i suppose thats a good thing.
just blame it on the lazer rain
this is Experimental
Scenecore
indie
po-punk
megaiantastic no, it was legitimate screamo or 'skramz' that was far more experimental than the usual. This inspired so much Skramz, emo and post-hardcore to expand and push their boundaries. They're like if Love Like Electrocution was more put together with their melodies and cleaner vocals.
megaiantastic Sasscore
@xOraidenStarx different types of music? btbam, heavy heavy low low, not very different types. On the contrary, any threeoneg band is awesome
this came out 12 fucking years ago.. pepeHands dude.
@xOraidenStarx we are twins o:
@112ALONE Lmao. Everywhere I go, I see people hating on brokencye. xD
This video was made b4 earpods😂
it's my first time to see an hear these guys.. i think the vocals are too weird.. and it slowly morphed at being SICKK. thanks for the blessing LORD.
Stewie?
@mariAZNMSK while i love the blood brothers...i think glassjAW has post-hardcore on fu*kin lock...
Some say it's Post Hardcore. Some say indie. Some say it's Screamo. I say it's music.
I personally think it fits more in post hardcore, but like you said, who gives a shit lol. Love this band
So much stop animation!
The enter check me out the call guys I make music for my forgotten frog
Does anybody else think they sound exactly like Foxy Shazam?
makes me want slap them in the faces.. !
The one's married, the other is I'm pretty sure
for the sake of music video and understanding psychology, belief on only two sides to a brain and not multiple parts to a greater whole, meant for spinning, not spinning, not spinning
And the weed helps you understand the words fyi lol
tetsuo the iron man
For a second I thought one of the singers was the guy that plays Howard in the big bang theory.
(Is it Howard? I dunno their names)
And the other one looks like the guy that played Moriarty on Sherlock!
Type PRIZE before youtube and hit enter
these cocaine habits are getting old.
no , i think actually ''stars''like rihanna suck, because its not heavy to sing monotone and throw the voice through a computer..
Without Johnny this band wouldn't be as popular as it is. Actually, I like his singing better then Jordan's. Trust me, without Johnny I would not care about this band, he add's that extra uniqueness with his singing.
whiskey. coke. blood brothers = college
Fair enough you think that, but just because you said it, everyone who loves the blood brothers isn't going to think that. So why post it, I think heaps of bands are shit, but i don't watch there videos or post it.
its not supposed to be metal, man
:) you asked for it that was my sad attempt at making a joke. sorry you hate the song or watever but you really took my comment WAAAY too personaly, rofl. its pretty hillarious how opinoinated you are.
