What a trip, I was totally at that show! Super random, as I was just hanging out on Telegraph like I used to do when I squatted in Oakland, and all of a sudden this nutso band started playing this crazy ass music. Totally got me into the Blood Brothers, as well. What an awesome little slice of coincidental history!
Yup I used to stay at the Jack London hotel with a whole bunch of friends attached to Chicken n Waffles place when UP line still existed...my friends growing up got me into them miss it for nostalgia's sake.
Did anyone get to see the last show they played at the Black Cat? It wasn't the last ever, just the last at that venue. I'll never forget it. I miss the scene.
@carneculiapodria yes. Burn Piano Island, Burn is a good one. um, this adultery is ripe, young machetes, march on electric children Etc. but the frirst one i listed is my fav.
Man what a performance. Had I known how much I was living in the moment when this band was around. I'm curious what ever happened to em, i wish em the best
they released a 20 year anniversary edition of burn piano island, burn a few weeks ago! all the members seem to be doing well & still involved in creative fields. i think johnny works for netflix, jordan is a writer. all the band members are married and/or have kids. johnny's kiddos are adorable. i'm really happy for them, they really had something special.
Yes. The Blood Brothers was one of the most influential bands not only on the genre of sass, but also on the general fashion sense and culture of scene. And they’re also just plain fire. I hope you’ve got some sense in you by now.
yeah... sometimes asking fans is a better source to know which album you should get into first. try being nice for a while and see how it works out for you.
Dennis Boland I think u could even give a noob individual songs that go from pop punky screaming to straight demonic . 1. Love rhymes with hideous car wreck 2. Trash flavored trash 3. 1900-USA-nails 4. Every breath is a bomb
this is worse than gay, technically speaking, gay means "happy" the music is not technical at all! kind of makes me feel like diarreah in a punchbowl, its just not supposed to be...thanks

This audio mix is so good. I’m genuinely shocked.
Would LOVE to see these in England again, they split up at their peak. Saw them in Birmingham on like a Tuesday night and the place was full for them

Such a sloppy live band. Yet that also made them so much fun. Saw them numerous times and was never, ever disappointed.

@@izcer1there’s no pop punk in their music. Pop punk chuds were copying them and failing miserably.
Its called Wikipedia....
Lmao johnny Whitney the gayest looking is married
Christ, so this is what killed testosterone and the hardcore scene.
Todd Norton.... Good.
Todd Norton you killed it
