That was the coolest build video I have ever seen. Camera angles were creative and interesting. Soundtrack complimented the visuals versus overwhelming you. Bet we will see many try to copy what you did here. Great work fellas! Awesome video.
Thanks! We had played around with the idea of using this lens for awhile and it definitely elongates the bike build process, but when we saw the BB shot we were in love!
You guys did an amazing job shooting and cutting this one. As for sealant, I've had great success prefilling a little 2 oz with Orange Seal, emptying it into the valve, and swabbing said valve clean to avoid build up. A lot cleaner, and more precise volume of liquid too!
Curious about the crank. I did the same thing on my bike (for weight and gearing), and the GRX spacing didn't play well with the Dura-Ace crank. It was 100% fine on normal roads and gravel, but was prone to dropping chains to the inside on heavy rough washboards, even with a chain catcher. Have you had the same issues? I now just run a GRX crank if the surface is going to be extra chunky.
hmmm, I have never had issues as the teeth are the exact same which is how the chain should be held on. Chain isn't too long? FD correct distance from chainring teeth?
Great video, Avery. I was about to say something regarding the ENVE shirts. Great marketing. Surprised you didn’t do the SILCA wax treatment on the chains 😊
Alexey ... Love the build!! Curious how you travel with an internally routed/integrated frame like the MOG? Do you use a case like the Scicon? Or is there enough slack in the InRoute system to let the bars come off and use a more traditional travel case (Evoc, Thule, etc)? Love your videos!! Thanks!
It never occurred to me to forgo the doohickey. This morning I had occasion two re-wrap the bars on my trainer bike and the doohickey was forwent. Never again with the doohickey!
@@alexeyandavery The *presence* of the doohickey doesn't really bother me. It's the faffing about with it that's a pain in the ass. I'm feeling more satisfaction from having not used it, and for the feeling of being a bar tape craftsman, than for any aesthetic or ergonomic benefits. Thanks for the demonstration. This is the way,
figure 8 bar tape is bulky and weighs more. i like to get a more solid grip around that area on my bars, but im sure everyone is different. also i cant imagine using a file, even if its a carbon specific file, can give a good finish for a cut carbon steerer tube.
Yeah it is a braided cover and some rubber to protect the DI2 Cable - ENVE ships it with all their frames, but I just love the aesthetics of it - Alexey

Thanks! I usually inject through the valve as well and then pump before putting the valve in to clear out the leftover sealant
Awesome bike build! Love the camera view thru the bottom bracket.
Thanks! We were stoked too!
Very satisfying, loved the flow, except for the bin of tangled bottle cages, totally killed the vibe 😂.
It’s organized chaos 😂
that close up BB installation is sick, please include that kind of shot in the future video
Takes a long time to setup that shot! Glad you liked it! Thanks!
Best bike build ever of the best gravel bike ever!
Thanks! I don't think we are bias at all :)
great video, loved the BB view and the bar tape was satisfying
Avery makes movie magic
No wide shot of the whole bike in the light. What a tease.
This was more of a forgotten moment than a tease! Sorry!

Legit. I just got a mog built for me and it is sick
Such a well build bike!
great edit. sick bike!
Thanks!
Great bike build! Awesome video!
Thanks! We had fun with this one!
Sick build. Stellar video. So good!
Thanks, Adam!
Slick production with lovely micro work. But Alex, don’t you know, only Pogi rides a yellow submarine! 😝
I felt like we posted this in honor of Tadej! ha
very satisfying
Great video Alexey
Thank you!
That’s one tasty bike 😍
Its pretty...pretty!
this felt very romantic. a love story of a boy and a bike.
I did fall in love - Alexey

YOU NOTICED! We are impressed! ha Silca waxing always happens, just ran out of shirts to film it in this video! ;)
Awesome video! Curious why Alexey went with orange sealed for sealant vs silca? Keep up the great content!
I have been with Orange Seal since 2021 and have always loved their product! I work with Silca in other categories, but have never used their sealant.
rented the probe lense

Thanks for the kind words! Yes, I typically use one of the cases from EVOC or Scicon that allows the 1 piece bars to stay on.
Just over here fanboy’n that not only does Alexey do his own build but it also takes him days 😂
haha! Multiple days and multiple shirts!
Great video guys! Quick Q? Where do you get these funky Enve tshirts ? Thanks
A secret room at ENVE HQ in Ogden :)
Can you do that next time in slow motion? I can’t work that fast😂 Very cool video!!!
ha! I will let Avery know! - Alexey
It never occurred to me to forgo the doohickey. This morning I had occasion two re-wrap the bars on my trainer bike and the doohickey was forwent. Never again with the doohickey!
There MIGHT be occasional time for the doohickey, but it feels a lot better in my opinion without it!

More stocked than my local bike shop
hahaha Alexey likes to be prepared
What is the reason we can’t buy the one piece bar
The goal is for the 1 Piece bar to be available to the public, it just isn't available for purchase yet.
@@alexeyandavery Allright
What are you using on the Di2 cable in the rear derailleur? It looks like a braided sleeve.
Yeah it is a braided cover and some rubber to protect the DI2 Cable - ENVE ships it with all their frames, but I just love the aesthetics of it - Alexey
I was curious if that was aftermarket because I’d like to get some!
@@jshippy10 I am pretty sure you can buy it on Amazon as 'Braided Cable Sleeve' - Rubber is harder to find, but I think I did on amazon too somehow
What kind of scissors are those?
Some kind of fabric cutting scissors - nothing I bought special for bikes, just needed scissors when I was on a trip somewhere!
🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤❤❤❤❤❤
This paint job makes me think of Anakin’s N-1 Starfighter… Inspo?
No relation, but I see it!
Only one of the top 5 in the US Men's Pro Road National Champs of 2024 can build their own bike from frame up.
I broke a lot of shit before I figured it out :) - Alexey
Tubeless good for trail good for cold place...... Sun don't like sealant 😁
I think you are using the wrong sealant ;) Do you have issues with it drying up?
Enve needs to give clients a bit more colours in their bikes.
Their paint manager will paint nearly anything you want.
A little birdy told me its coming ;)
Yes, this. I am thinking about a Mog but hate the matte colors. Give me metallic gloss paint please.
cutting a carbon steerer with no mask(?) isn't that pretty dangerous?
you are one of those
@@ebhkkc1 yeah- one of those people who doesn't inhale carbon dust
What’s the saddle height? Awesome build, curious of the fit numbers 🫡
