it was flat choreography, I didn't like the performance. They shouldn't have had the tables, it made for bad transitions getting on and off them, every fraction of a second counts when your performance is only a minute long. I didn't really feel like they were delivering a paso doble, it was just a generic Disney dance routine, and nothing made Arianna stand out, unfortunately. They used a desk in a previous routine, and it was the same thing, awkward. If you don't have adult sized legs you should be using adult sized props. Brandon is a really good choreographer, he is better than this.
I think they should not forget that these are children ... the joy from dance should not be taken. She did really good. And she’s so young and not a dancer.
Yes they are kids, very accomplished kids in their field who want to win! It cant always be the most happy comments cause when they throw up lower scores they will notice a disconnect. All the judges said her dance was good and then gave her something to work on. They all practically said they know shes good already and they want her to be better...which is a huge compliment that her coach can point out.
Poor little thing looked like she was about to burst into tears. I think they need to remember that these are kids, and Ariana is one of the youngest in the whole competition. She did very well with the choreography she was given and she looked like she was having fun

someone said here that she didn't take the critique gracefully?! but she literally smiled and held her tongue and not sass them back?! for a child, who was about 10-11 at the time, she took it the best that she could. She worked very hard for this, she struggled, and hearing those comments can even make an adult think "is the struggle all worth it?" but instead of crying and giving up, I know this kid only worked ten times harder. It's one thing how you react to getting critique, but what you do with it is another, and she did great with, I know because yall just have to wait for next week to see
I don’t agree with this at all. Her acting was great, and you have to think about how hard it is to dance in those pants and a tight leather jacket. They need to remember their wardrobe has an effect on it, and that they are kids. You could tell that the announcer guy was pissed, he knew they were being too hard on her.

I love this dance! I love that it was designed around Descendants/Descendants 2. I love love love that moving and I am really hoping Ariana and Artyon win. They are both amazing little dancers so I really hope they win in the end!

She’s doing a fierce paso to a Disney song playing a sassy character? What did they want, for her to start crying in the performance?She played the character well and her dancing was awesome, they set this up, the kids do two dances a week so the producers already saw how amazing her next dance was and wanted a ‘comeback’ because they wanted to give her a ten the next time so they told the judges to be harsh and just made them sound really dumb and the poor girl looked like she was gonna burst into tears❤️❤️
My 4 year old daughter love the Descendants movies. She got so excited seeing this dance and was also singing along. We loved this. The judges are tougher on the kids the the judges of the adults.

It's a shame that the judges go into this having some sort of expectations on the kids, judging them by how good they think the kids are. It's unfortunate for Ariana, Miles and Mandla because they started off really well and the judges are gonna expect them to do better and be better every time. I'm not a dancer but I am so confused. As I watched them tonight I thought they're the ones to beat. I thought this is a dance that you are supposed to attack, so confused.
Compared to the rest of the performers, the judges gave her the most harsh critiques. I guess it’s because they understand that she is a great dancer and treat her like one and want to see her improve but I highly disagree with Val’s and Adam’s 7s for her performance, it had a lot of difficult components that she executed well especially considering the clothes they were wearing. Also the fact that there wasn’t a lot of paso doble is not even their fault. It seemed the judges were just being too hard on her and she looked really sad because they phrased their critiques so that the negative parts were after the positive so she wasn’t as cheerful as she usually is. In the end they’re still children and mostly doing this for fun.
Also I’m tired of Adam’s “critiques”, they’re always just fluff and no substance. It’s like he says almost the same things but in different ways. Just because he won his season I still don’t think he’s fit to be an actual judge on a dancing competition, since he doesn’t seem to use any technical terms either.
Possibly my favorite dance of the night tonight..... She really embodied Mal in this....... I think Mandy had it right, Ari knew she could do so much more, but when you have to stick to the dance technique, it really does limit you with what you can really do with the dance...... All in all though, I think they did a very good job with this

Kenzie is 14, has more than 10 year of dance training. Ariana is 10. you need to take that into consideration. These are kids. and Kenzie should not be a star, she should be a pro and stop lying that she is a singer, when she is know for dancing.
