This is after all, performance art and is as old as humanity. Here you have a live orchestra, live vocalist, live guitar, and live dancers. The overall effect is pure magic. And Maddie leads because she is a natural born leader and picks up quickly/remembers choreography like no one else her age. Not to mention she is a very elegant and magnetic performer. She literally draws your eye. All that matters is that when it ended you were smiling and could feel the magic... Great job to all performers!!!!

I see below average talent coming out of a studio I have to assume it is because they have below average training/instruction. This always makes me cry because my aunt passed away In October and she always sang this song to me, and this will be our first Thanksgiving without her we were really close.. Just seeing them dance makes me love dance more because you get to show your emotion. I love the whole dance! especially the ending pose where they laid their heads on Maddie's shoulder. Bravo Girls that was very beautiful!

Found this on my recommendations again! I miss seeing J and B together! I wish that we can travel back to time when Brynn is not part of dance moms yet and just maybe we can see her confidence and strengths again in dancing. Dance moms really ruined her and it is so sad!!! Brynn is one of the best dancers during her time and it is sad that she lost that enthusiasm in dance. Thankfully, Alexa is always there for her! Maddie was stunning, she has the power to make the stage hers and she does no-matter who shes working with. She worked hard to be that good and she made a lot of people pleased. She didn't have a normal childhood but she used it to her best ability and made herself work for these types of projects. Even now at almost 20 years old she has made a world-wide name for herself and is still the same Maddie that wanted this and soaked in every moment as if it was her last.
All three girls were incredibly beautiful. I hate it when people say Jaycee and Brynn have better technique then Maddie. Maddie has been told on numerous occasions by actual judges that her technique is flawless. People who know nothing about dance shouldn't hate on Maddie's technique. Maddie wouldn't have won tons of dance competitions and wouldn't have been awarded a scholarship to the Joffrey Ballet School with Chloe if her technique wasn't amazing.

Its Easy to beat Maddie beside Dance moms rigged competitons. Brynn beats Maddie 8/10 Times on real competitons. Maddie dances with her faces Brynn dances with her Body, she has great faceals to.

Chloe said so a year or so after she left the show she had no reason to lie. Plus people who have actually been to the dance moms competitions have said there completely normal except the girls perform their routines twice once for the judges and once to be filmed. Even if u don't count the dance moms competitions Maddie has won tons outside of dance moms. She got five stars on Live to Dance when she was 7.

Aldc wasn't that good of a studio compared to Club. And dancing with the stars is more about famous people than best dancers. Maddie was more famous because of the show, that's why she got the lead. Brynn and Jaycee were the best dancers in their age groups, that's why they were selected to perform on stage from among rest of the candidates. And Maddie did get many opportunities simply because of the show.

I suggest you watch the solos of Brynn, Jaycee, Kalani, Tate, etc. that were choreographed by Alexa Moffet of club dance. Tanya Markova Maddie only beat Brynn once, when they were in the same division. But Brynn got horrible cheesy choreography while Maddie's choreography was amazing, of course she won. But Maddie turned 13 and Brynn was still 12 so they couldn't compete against each other because they weren't even in the same age division. Besides Brynn won the titles as best dancer while Maddie got 4th.

I love Maddie’s emotional execution. Some say it’s exaggerated/over used but just like actors always use their distinctive “faces”, so does she. And I’m glad she exaggerates her emotions because when performing live, your emotion should be seen and felt by everyone. It’s a great way to reach people who don’t have front row seats.
Maddie is an amazing dancer probably one of the best dancers on dance moms Definitely tied with Kalani and Chloe but she did deserve a lot of this because she worked hard and practiced a lot

That's called overrating Maddie. Brynn and Jaycee are technically superior to Maddie, Brynn's non aldc solos are much better than Maddie's, when it comes to emotional execution. Maddie is getting enough credit, Brynn and Jaycee aren't
@J Wilson Maddie has got enough credit and recognition. Maddie sure is amazing, but the other 2 are just as amazing or even more so technically. They don't get half the recognition Maddie has got, despite their talent and hard work. So saying that Brynn and Jaycee are amazing takes nothing away from Maddie. There are so many comments saying that Maddie shone in this dance,etc. yet this original commentator had a problem with anyone who praised Brynn and Jaycee. Btw, look at Jaycee's story, and her dances, if you think she's not comparable to Maddie. She actually has struggled more and worked harder than Maddie, who got benefited by the show more than anything.
@J Wilson omg, literally every girl from the show spent hours working just as hard, and the girls from Club dance trained even harder than the girls at aldc. Aldc wasn't that good of a studio compared to Club. And dancing with the stars is more about famous people than best dancers. Maddie was more famous because of the show, that's why she got the lead. Brynn and Jaycee were the best dancers in their age groups, that's why they were selected to perform on stage from among rest of the candidates. And Maddie did get many opportunities simply because of the show.
@J Wilson I'm not going to argue with you. I'm guessing you're not a dancer ir have formed your opinions just by watching the show. I suggest you watch the solos of Brynn, Jaycee, Kalani, Tate, etc. that were choreographed by Alexa Moffet of club dance. And listen to Jaycee's story as the 2015 junior best dancer at tda, and her dances after.

Tanya Markova Maddie only beat Brynn once, when they were in the same division. But Brynn got horrible cheesy choreography while Maddie's choreography was amazing, of course she won. But Maddie turned 13 and Brynn was still 12 so they couldn't compete against each other because they weren't even in the same age division. Besides Brynn won the titles as best dancer while Maddie got 4th.

I love Maddie’s emotional execution. Some say it’s exaggerated/over used but just like actors always use their distinctive “faces”, so does she. And I’m glad she exaggerates her emotions because when performing live, your emotion should be seen and felt by everyone. It’s a great way to reach people who don’t have front row seats.

I know plenty about how the dance world works - The original comment was as I said not inaccurate - sure she may be better now than she was 4 years ago but that hardly changes the fact that much of what she does is just the same old move's. The only time I've been really impressed by her dancing has been during her improve performance at the dance awards otherwise I find her to be simply an amateur dancer - which is fine most dancers fall into that category. Imagine if she actually went to a strong dance studio from the beginning. Lucky for her I see she's been recently going to workshops learning from real real dancers. Wish her nothing but the best.

Her performance at the dance awards was exemplary - kind of why I said that was the only time I've seen her dance and been really impressed - otherwise yes she has danced like an amateur in all of the other video's. Again not a bad thing just needs better training to be on the next level.

She's had a drastic improvement recently she has improved her flexibility which used to be very average for a non dancer to the point one could say her flexibility is average for a dancer. I haven't seen any newer dances since the dance awards so I cannot say that it wasn't a one off, but I have seen her improving her flexibility which, if you're honest, was the very definition of amateur.
