If it was Maddie I'd understand, but Kenzie has lost almost all her flexibility and technique. She's also not the only child celeb on the show with dance training. There's been a ton of celebs on the show who are trained it's not a big deal.

I have always defined by teachers and students and everyone I know as my brother's sister, and sometimes people who I go to school with don't even bother to learn my name. (My brother doesn't even go to my school anymore, and we never overlapped.) It's hella difficult bc I'm always trying to prove myself and not say I'm terrible at everything compared to him, even though I am, and I can only imagine if my life was defined by my famous/talented parent.
Your story really just shows that if those kids had enough talent themselves they will be recognize as who they are but when they don't they're known as so and so's child.

She has forgotten many of it and lost some of her flexibility due to her not being trained for years. She's also not focused on professional dancing and was Never trained in ballroom dancing besides maybe Jazz. But she focuses on singing and acting now soo

Although gymnastics is very different from dance, they still have an advantage with the flexibility and agility some dance steps look best with.
Let the girl beeee, makes it more interesting than seeing little non-dancers mess up most steps and look stiff on stage.
Tiany Santana gymnastics dance is a very small portion of it. Figure skaters have more dance background than gymnast’s. Laurie and Shawn won DWTS

you guys do know DWTS is not just for non dancers(which is rare on the show), basically all dancers who have dancing backgrounds join DWTS just like every other season of DWTS
To everyone saying Kenzie is a trained dancer, yes she is, but it’s been awhile since she’s been at the level she was on dance moms, so it may take her awhile to regain her skills and to be at the level where was was previously.
This looks to be really cute and fun. I'm looking forward to watching it!

She has forgotten many of it and lost some of her flexibility due to her not being trained for years. She's also not focused on professional dancing and was Never trained in ballroom dancing besides maybe Jazz. But she focuses on singing and acting now soo
blogistuff yes but she was a competitive dancer her whole life she’s used to learning a dance in a week and she might not be a dancer anymore but she was and everyone who knows her either knows her as Kenzie from Dance moms or the girl who’s in Sia’s music videos sister (aka Maddie) she’s 14 she lost some flexibility not all and she can probably get some back I’m not saying Kenzie should be disqualified because she was obviously picked for a reason but Ellianna was also on dance moms for a shorter time but she’s considered a pro
