The thing about Michael that makes him forever different from anyone else is that he didn't just dance, he WAS the dance personified, he WAS the dance in its corporeal form. It wasn't just doing choreo, or doing precise moves, it was living and breathing the dance, his every pore, every cell, every breath, every micro-expression, every hair strand danced, that's why the energy and precision coming from him was so different and that's why they say that nobody moves like Michael Jackson.
There are so many other, younger artists who are incredible dancers and they're technically perfect and do the moves just right and correct, but what they're doing is DANCING amazingly, but they aren't DANCE itself like Michael, that's the difference. They're perfect like all those background dancers who studied for years and are the best in the biz and can outdance anyone, but you put Michal in front of background dancers and he will stand out and look unique and even more smooth and mesmerizing.

100% Spot on, I’ve noticed this as well. While we have some in the comments arguing that newer dancers are better because they do more dances, they never seem to nail moves like MJ did. His timing and smoothness was unmatched. Nobody attempting to do his moves look right. It always looks off/sloppy compared to MJ.

First of all...how dare anyone compare themselves to Michael Jackson!!?? Who does that?? Everyone has to come up to his level, period. He's literally the bar, he set the stage, he made danceing pop and hip-hop what it is today. His standard is epic. He literally invented his own style of performing, and if anyone wants to be considered a dancer themselves they have to study his moves.
Chris Brown is good, I can't deny that. But the title of this video should be something like, Look How Awesome Chris Brown Dances Like MJ. And honestly that's what Chris does, he imitates. He's a good student who leant well from the teacher. Chris Brown has looks, he can sing and dances like MJ, that's why is such a good entertainer. But unless you pay homage to the King of Pop, don't even bother.
