I've seen a video of iron chef as judge in Masterchef Asia, he's truly objectif, no shout or drama just straight taste the dishes and rate them, and he's so proper, so joy to watch. This man really had the best dad's personality.
As a Canadian that moved to the states - I LOVE that he still calls it the Skydome! Never understood why they changed the name when no one calls it the rogers center

You put the Marge dish in LOL to confirm it's indeed the awesome and amazing Susur that is the Iron Chef dad, I knew it had to be, but I hadn't seen him on anything else in the US I don't think and it has been a while since that season of TC Masters. Your dad is one of my favorite chefs I've ever seen, truly a skilled and amazing talent as well as great personality! Happily subbed now, and if anyone hasn't seen that season of Top Chef Masters, do yourself a favor and check it out for more Susur! I was definitely rooting for Susur that season, I gotta re-watch it again.
Fun fact, in master chef they always try the dishes before the actual "show up" scenes, the cooks prepare 2 of the same dish, the first is put on the counter and is the one thats shown on the show, the second is kept warm and is being tested while the contestants arent present (so that the judges actually eat the food the way its supposed to be, warm)

Seeing another True Masterchef’s point of view judging those bad dishes makes me respect Joe and Gordon Ramsey more since this Chef is saying the same thing as them. It’s plain and simple bad dishes and they need to be told the truth. Although in the earlier seasons they are expressing it too harshly. The truth still needed to be told or else those home cooks are gonna think too highly of themselves. And they’ll eventually embarrass themselves even more
Exactly! I think Gordon wants people to succeed and expects people to give their best. Joe was an insulting jerk and he used that show to demean people.
Upon seeing Joe throw food away before even tasting it, this True Masterchef immediately commented that he'd taste the dish first as he's curious whether the combo would work. Basically Joe is the opposite of a masterchef.
Why? You don't respect them (except Joe) before? Although i am not chef i can judge half of them are really bad but like other chef i would taste it even tho is bad.
