I like watching your Dad and you but I don't like him making fun of the lady.Okay so he eon Iron Chef against how many 3 or 4 others?.Thatakes him know more than anyone else I am disappointed in him
I've seen a video of iron chef as judge in Masterchef Asia, he's truly objectif, no shout or drama just straight taste the dishes and rate them, and he's so proper, so joy to watch. This man really had the best dad's personality.
Yeah, I was going to say Chef Dad is offering valid criticism to increase the contestant's skill, not ripping them open to destroy their will to ever cook again. Gordon Ramsey and his Flying Monkey judges are incompetent; they're too emotionally immature, broadcasting unprofessional flippant, self-righteous, rude, entitled, and mordacious behaviour. They are no better than spoiled children who've never been told no. Waste.
The last dude was one of the strongest in his season actually. He did really well most challenges and was considered a frontrunner. Just that one disastrous dessert doomed him though
Yeah he was that guy who always used to plate the best till this dish. I bet he had something really great envisioned in his mind but when everything came together it ended up being a disaster. Anyway even though he's a good chef he's pretty bad when it comes to working under the pressure.
did you wath the season? no he wasnt. He'd plate well. that was it. theyd always say his food was lacking flavour. He never made top 3 in mystery box more than once if memory serves me right
@@kristianpomida8259right. even everyone else who was in that season as well said that lynn was going to win, just because he only “plated food good”. just because he plated food good didn’t necessarily mean he was going to win.

Yeah, I actually want to see him have a positive experience and have positive things to say. Granted this content gets the clicks and is perhaps more compelling.
Imagine getting to the table with decades of experience in cooking, to just have this renowned chef just immediately start laughing at your face and pointing before even trying your dish. i love this guy
He is the funniest guy honestly. What a privilege to be his son. I hope I can be like this as a father because my dad was basically absent and a serious alcoholic problem gambler. The blast on the neutral expression of that woman was so hilarious. I could listen to that all day
Epic post Jet! Your Dad's TV career is legendary. Some little known are with Restaurant Makeover, Ming Tsai, and Bobby Flay. In 'Battle Bacon' your Dad was the winner in my books.😊
man i love your dad almost as much as i love my own dad such a great idea for you to create this channel in the first place. you not only create interesting videos that show how funny and down to earth he is, you’ve introduced his immense talents to a generation that otherwise would have no idea who he is (like every other extremely talented iron chef)
Fun fact, in master chef they always try the dishes before the actual "show up" scenes, the cooks prepare 2 of the same dish, the first is put on the counter and is the one thats shown on the show, the second is kept warm and is being tested while the contestants arent present (so that the judges actually eat the food the way its supposed to be, warm)
IC dad cracks me the hell up!! He reminds me of most of my family on my Chinese side. No filter and straight up when critiquing things esp food🤣🤣 gotta love him
You put the Marge dish in LOL to confirm it's indeed the awesome and amazing Susur that is the Iron Chef dad, I knew it had to be, but I hadn't seen him on anything else in the US I don't think and it has been a while since that season of TC Masters. Your dad is one of my favorite chefs I've ever seen, truly a skilled and amazing talent as well as great personality! Happily subbed now, and if anyone hasn't seen that season of Top Chef Masters, do yourself a favor and check it out for more Susur! I was definitely rooting for Susur that season, I gotta re-watch it again.
This is random but would love a video of your dad showing us what he makes for the holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc etc). Would be cool to see how a master chef handles holiday cooking 💪
"It would taste better with a pair of chopsticks " - " cause you wouldnt get as much" 😂😂😂 hilarious. I love you guys, and I look forward to your videos every time and admire the bond you and your dad have. It’s only because he’s so rich I can tell it’s fashion if he wasn’t I would’ve just thought it was an old shirt lol that’s actually some next level rich people fashion
First! Thank you Iron Chef Dad for posting this video today! I was just told that I have a non cancerous brain tumor which I did surgery for yesterday. This video has really brightened my day!
i love your dads reactions to this, and i mean he is right that you can kind of tell by looking at some people how their food will turn out. tali, the guy the showed repeated for a bit is actually a good cook, but he was always doing some the weirdest techinques in his dishes, and because he spent so much time doing that his food would always be either dry, overcooked, or just didnt work right. when he was in the moment during food competitions for teams, his parts of the dish were always done really well and looked good. he most likely would have gone much farther if he just toned it back a bit for individual tests, but he had an arrogance about his cooking and always complained (as the show represented) that the judges just didnt understand his food or flavor profiles.
See y’all, Joe and Gordon Ramsey aren’t the only ones thinking “Wth is being served??” 😂. Seeing another True Masterchef’s point of view judging those bad dishes makes me respect Joe and Gordon Ramsey more since this Chef is saying the same thing as them. It’s plain and simple bad dishes and they need to be told the truth. Although in the earlier seasons they are expressing it too harshly. The truth still needed to be told or else those home cooks are gonna think too highly of themselves. And they’ll eventually embarrass themselves even more
Exactly! I think Gordon wants people to succeed and expects people to give their best. Joe was an insulting jerk and he used that show to demean people.
Upon seeing Joe throw food away before even tasting it, this True Masterchef immediately commented that he'd taste the dish first as he's curious whether the combo would work. Basically Joe is the opposite of a masterchef.
Why? You don't respect them (except Joe) before? Although i am not chef i can judge half of them are really bad but like other chef i would taste it even tho is bad.
Joe is exactly what a judge shouldn't be... Heck Gordon suffered through food poisoning for some random douchebag and Joe won't even try food on a Show He signed Up for to try food 🤡. And don't get me started on constructive critisism
I legitimately look up to your dad and want to be more like him, based on what you have presented of him on TH-cam. I am in my 30s with two children. I don't know if that speaks greater volumes of me or your father, I hope the latter.
