Lady Gaga a pure form of talent is a mentor. While, normal attention seekers like JLO, and Nicki Minaj becomes judges on these shows. We can see where "theatrics" and "talent" is in this modern age.
That's cause only people who need other ways of making money when they can't seek out big tours and do t have enough inspiration to write album after album become judges. Well that, or you just have tons of free time and really love the music. Gaga's way too busy with everything else going on.
She looked totally outstanding and, her genuineness in helping these kids 'come out' of their shells to perform at their highest levels was a wonderful thing... She understands how injecting the emotion of your inner self to your outer self is what brings the audience in and, let's them get the most out of the song... If you can't act the song out, honestly, it's just another forgettable song, and forgettable performance... I think she did great teaching each one of them that point...
No shade to Katy what so ever, but Gaga should’ve taken her spot for the judge on the upcoming American Idol season. She knows what she’s doing and she helped them here in this video tremendously.
@darkrevelation Haley followed Gaga's advice by taking a dramatic breath in the middle of her performance, which was a brilliant idea. I think Haley's performance benefited a tremendous amount from Gaga's advice. Gaga was right. I felt like I was watching the great Edith Piaf when Haley was performing. Scotty pissed me off though, the way he felt like he needed to kiss his cross and pray after Gaga took time out of her schedule to help him with his performance.

I think Lady Gaga did the best, most constructive coaching of any of the superstar guests I've seen. Sad that half of these kids didn't actually take her advice. Even sadder that Howdy Doody won this thing. I am not going to lie. I don't like Scotty. He's good, I just don't like him.
She ` s an artist that gave an opportunity for today ` s new generation that gives them opportunity to earn a chance to stardom and also further enhance their goals for other careers that help them going through these economic changes and have a foundation to provide other growth in education .

Gaga is a better mentor than all four of The Voice coaches combined. The Voice coaches seem not be able to realize that most of the contestants have received enough vocal training already. All they really need is useful instructions on how to perform, which is what they have yet to give them.

Thats what i love about GaGa and Beyonce. Their performances have so much passion.Gaga is generally more theatrical with her body more than face (Not saying she doesn't use facial expressions) and Beyonce acts out the emotions with strong facial expressions. These two are the best female performers out right now. One's sporadic and filled with crazy energy while the other one is technical and crisp.
shes right through, your singing and performance wont be as good when your just standing there and she put that excitement into each of them, she did a good job.

Lady Gaga is an INCREDIBLY successful performer, and these kids really seemed to take next to nothing from their sessions with her. Such a shame. If they want to stand out and make themselves known and not disappear into the sea of people trying to become famous, they should be MORE mindful of the mentors like Gaga.
