Stefani Germanotta, now known as Lady Gaga, performing at Ultraviolet Live, NYU's annual talent show. She ended up coming in 3rd place. 2nd place was Funky Butter. 1st place was Tom Costello & Stephan Magloire.
She's AMAZING.

Stefani Germanotta, immense artist, was much more respectable than Lady Gaga, dark product without talent and morally foul.
For all the people saying she she "sold out" you do realize that was the only way for her to get famous and make a name for herself right? Electric Kiss is a true masterpiece. I adore Gaga in all her phases and identities. She's truly a great talent who is exploring the boundaries of pop culture and who clearly has a genuine love and appreciation for those who support her. She's just a class act in general.

It was the whole list of top female pop singers who were only slightly in her way to the top... They just didn't know it at the time... Too funny...
She sounds like a Jazz singer from the 1950s in this video. Same powerful, slightly raspy, yet crystal clear vocals. Just amazing. I was very pleased that her album with Tony Bennet was like this :)

She is constantly changing, but she has always been Lady Gaga, just hidden away inside Stefani. She hasn't ditched this kind of music, she still sings songs live sitting at the piano and showcases her talent and voice just like she is doing in this video.
Her voice is so special, and she's such a gifted musician and songwriter. Like, even though people like to say that Gaga is always rehearsed and acted and calculated, we all know how authentically talented and spontaneous Stefani is. She allows herself to fail sometimes, but graciously recover from any slip, which proves to you all that she truly has that essence of a true musician.

I see her live some days ago, and I can say to you that she is maybe the most talented woman in this world, a fusion between talent, theater, special effects, fashion and love which create perfection. @@davidkiria661 That is actually untrue, her range is ten times what it was in these early days. I saw her live recently on the Chromatica Ball tour and she is perfectly able to hit notes like this when she so desires. Her voice is not damaged, its just more fully formed because of maturity.

I still cry during Captivated, since I discovered Gaga watching the news with by fiance and we were so madly in love. I was Captivated and had never been sure of my luv.He's IT! Gaga was wearing one of her most outlandish things of 2009, but I can't remember what. I asked my husband about her and he'd seen Poker Face with the zipper on her eye, he said. I looked her up, found this, and started my obsession with her. so talented! Now it's 5 years later, she still lights up my life. I live Gaga.
