I bought the Tacklife T8 a couple of years ago for my XJS 5.3 HE which I don't use more than once a week or so. I used to disconnect the battery but not anymore. It starts every time first time with the T8. My son and brother in law have used it to get them out of trouble and then bought one each. Check out the instructions as shown in this video and you can't go wrong!
Well, I have no idea why this device doesn't get a good review! I bought it, charged it overnight, went out and started my "dead for two months", dead battery in my car! 100%. sold on the ease and opperating of this accessory! I strongly recommend it to anyone !

I have the TackLife T6 jump-starter and I have zero problems and complaints about the unit. All jump-starters come out of the same manufacturing plant in China so it's just a matter of what grade components the purchasers wants in their jump-starters.
I've been using it as a flash light and today it started my highlander with a 3.5 no problem and still it's at 100% and even used the cigarette adapter to set up my dash cam where it was warm inside awesome product.....BUY ONE!!!!!!!!!!
I'm glad this came up just bought one a few days ago. Then read some bad reviews, one was they couldn't charge it. I guess they didn't turn it on. Would like to know how many years it will last if you don't use it. Great info thanks.

How's this thing working for you now? Mine has gotten to that point where I cannot charge it either with AC or DC (button turned to ON), flashlight does not work and it his completely dead. When plugged in to charge the screen says LO and the percentage changes but as soon as you remove the charger it does nothing! Not even the backlight of the screen turns on. I read on amazon others with the exact same issue so this is obviously a common problem with these things. It's basically a paperweight now. (tacklife is not even on amazon anymore).
All my tacklife units have been working fine, maybe you got a lemon? I would reach out to see what they say, worst they can say is no. Yes they were taken off amazon for paying for reviews along with many other companies. You can still buy through their website.

When finally I was in a situation needing it, it did not turn on, no LED showing charge. Trying to see if it needed charge, I connected it with AC (button turned to ON) but after overnight, no sign of working anymore. Disspointing how this product have a very short life span when kept in the car trunk
@@gladysalie I have 4 of them and leave them in my trunk through summer and winter and they still work. Do you charge them at least every 6 months thats a schedule that I follow and things have been fine for me.
@@Hindsight101, well, althought I did recharged it once ( it was still 98 charge) I believe now it's too late as it is no longer turning ON. As someone else mentioned, it calls my attention Amazon no longer have the brand TackLife. Makes us wonder why

T6 (600A peak, 16500mAh), T8 (800A peak, 18000mAh), and T8 MAX (1000A peak, 20000mAh). Besides the peak current and battery capacity, the T8 has LCD display and compass if you need these two functions. And the clamps are constructed stronger and more comfortable to operate

I just bought this booster and it came dead out of the box. Tried charging the whole day, does not work. Once it even went all the way to 95% but then it went back to zero. Could get a burnt smell. Useless product. Probably very poor quality control. Mine is going back to Amazon.

I ordered one, received it, and it doesn’t work. Won’t charge up. I was given a refund, but the mfg is apparently out of business. I would recommend you don’t buy this product

I bought a tracklife and it works started my car . The only thing is that the case is to small to get all the products back into the case.
Yeah there's only one way to put them in or they're not getting in

When it first came out people didn't know how to use it so it got bad reviews
I've been using mine daily as a phone charger... I trust it more than cheap car adapter chargers and it jumps any car!
Some will not do a dead battery, and to start up a car without a battery is amazing. Oh and in freezing weather.

Are you still within your return window, maybe you just got a bad one?
@@Hindsight101 no had for a year... warranty should cover it.. it is actually the charger. The car lighter one works but not exactly ideal.
