Seeing an event where you basically go back in time and have to face everything back from 2020 Era of TDS sounds like quite a fun time, especially for players who didn't stick with the game ever since the beginning of its creation
It was fun completing gladiator event and area 51 event in the past but now commando is too weak in TDs and the only thing that you can use is gladiator and nobody believes that you are an old player
Props to anyone who remembers this: In the Area 51 event the Raider Boss actually could kill your towers making them unusable. I think it was removed later on in the event since it was very annoying
I do think they should bring some old stuff from the og tds, such as golden mode which used to be my go to game mode. Also the old skins, which they had different weapons and not the same weapon each time, an example is the 2020 mini gunner skins like the twitter code skin and other ones

@@The_all_mighty_power I have the commando in the real game, I've even played during the original heights event. The nerf really only affected the missiles. The pistols were around the same dmg as the scout.
@@christopherchen6426 I am quite sure commando had 100 damage per pistol shot and 50 damage per rocket? I don’t have anymore screenshots to confirm the old damage, but the pistols were far more than being one of a glorified scout’s
i agree with the fact that new tds is better, people only really think so because nostalgia, but they don't miss old tds, they miss the position they were in when playing old tds. it's something called nostialgia filter
I actually beat the event only in lv5 solo. I found a glitch that can somehow stop them from walking ang get stuck, but you do have to sell all towers and go to the edge so that it out of render distance. It works only on raiders and the boss so good luck on the early and midgame
I remember being an absolute god at this with mini gunner and rail gunner and commander with a di and farm. Still was impossible to solo insane and got like wave 50 or smth

I joined the trick or threat event then left and rejoin in frost invasion and I grinded alot.
