katie, have been using regular scruchies for this pupose for years. Shannon: Great to know there are now towel scrunchies.
Where to find them?
Foot mask doesn't work. Directions say to keep on for 90 minutes. Did so, not to use more than once a month. Didn't work.
I buy lemons. Get them a little warm in the microwave then squeeze them into a measuring cup. I then fill those silicon ice cube trays or candy molds. I use the ones that that have about a tablespoon worth. I then pop the lemon cubes out, put in a bag in the freezer so when I need real lemon juice I have it. I freeze the zest as well.
The fruit fly traps are better with a drop of Dawn, 1/4 cup of vinegar & 2 tablespoons water. No spoiling fruit!

For mosquitoes, try a small foil pot pie pan and use about 2 to 3 tbsp. Of fresh coffee grounds piled in the middle. Light them and the slow burn smoke will keep mosquitoes away near where you are sitting
I just watched the video where a guy put clothes in a bottom of a little candle container and then he put coffee in there and then the wick back in and wax I guess that's supposed to help too this was a good share thank you ❤
Mine are 30 and 35 and I wish they were young again. It’s so hard when they move on and have their own lives no matter how proud we are we still miss them.

An easy DIY way to repel mosquitoes is to mix 2 parts of water to one part vinegar and treatment around your yard. You can also use this mix as a treatment and a repellent for yourself and your pets. Just avoid any sensitive areas such as eyes, mouth, etc.

I use the low cups for ice cream evenings ..we live in a 55 and older gated community in Fla ...i love buying ice cream and having ppl come eat with us , ice cream for supper evenings lol

We use straight vinegar on old rags for around our yard...for bigger pests...bears! Works great as we live in pocono mountains, pa n we have alot!

Great finds and DIYs. I loved the Mirror DIY. You could use some of the cork sheets from DT to make a small msg board too. For mosquitoes, I use a blend of essential oils and it's safe for dogs. Just add 5-6 drops of lemon, citronella, peppermint essential oils into a 6oz spray bottle and fill the rest of the way with almond or coconut oil. I spray on me and the dogs. It also repels fleas and ticks. I make my own candles with the same blend to burn outdoors.❤

I use the silicone ice trays for paint palettes mine have lids so keeps the paint fresh
Those candle stick holders that look like flower stems would be cool to hold a plant propagation tube to propagate your favorite plants! Lavender essential oil for mosquitoes. Nontoxic bug repellent

The fruit fly traps are a must have if you keep a lot of fruit/veggies on your counter as I do. They work very well. Definitely worth $1.25
I thought of an idea to use the ice tray. You could paint over it and use it as a stencil to make a bee hive pattern.

I've bought the pom pkm loofah took them apart and cut the pom pom trim to use along w ribbon for bows....endless uses tho!

You ask for tips on avoiding pester bugs. I have used a large dog tick and flee collar. Now they even have it with mosquitoes. Cut it as long as you or need. Pin the pieces to your cloths. I had to do this while babysitting. Many years ago. Also it was used for when the troops went to boot camp.hope you find something.😊😊😊

I love shooting bubbles with our Golden Retriever...after she started panting really hard after a fulfilled time with the bubbles...I found out that regular bubbles can be hard on dogs.
Good news...there are bubble solutions one can purchase...on Amazon...and other websites.

I spray and rub Skin So Soft bath oil from Avon onto any exposed skin to help keep the mosquitoes away. I've been doing this for 30 years now, it worked when I lived in Michigan, Ohio and Texas (yes the Texas mosquitoes are three times as big as the northern ones, their bites feel like a small version of a bee sting, OUCH!)
You could also plant some marigolds around your yard or your little flower garden. That helps repels mosquitoes as well. Down here in Florida. The mosquitoes are on steroids. They’re huge down here, but spearmint lemongrass and marigold are the three main things that I keep in my garden because it repels yellow flies mosquitoes And other pesky insects.

Wow! Lots of cool stuff. I like the mosquito wipes. They love me. My mom told me about how when were were at Camp Lejeune in N. Carolina while my dad was in the Marines we would all be sleeping with her between us and in the morning my dad and I would be well bitten and she wouldn't have any. She found out later that vitamin B 12? Helped..she had been on a regime of shots from her doctor so the little blood suckers didn't bite her. Some say it isn't true but mom swore by it since that's the only reason she could think of why she never got a bite. 🤷♀️

The honeycomb trays & space tape have not been available here, however, I do plan to keep looking for them; as well as, the loofa, lip gloss, and definitely the flower bag.

I do this every morning, so I can sit out on my patio and drink coffee. The breeze from the fan is too strong for the flies or mosquitos.

I love the honeycomb ice tray! I have rheumatoid arthritis and I can’t get ice out of regular trays so I have to buy bags of ice to use. Can’t wait to find them in one of our dollar tree stores. Thank you so much for that. You have a lot of good ideas in this video. I enjoyed it very much.

Love your videos. FYI mosquitoes love me and I tried those wipes and they didn’t work for me. The spray works better but I got a spray called Repellent that has 50% deet and it works great for the Texas size mosquitoes here!

Apple cider vinegar is good in fruit fly traps, and some DIY instructions suggest a couple of drops of liquid soap.
