In my 16 years at sea only transited once from the Atlantic to the Pacific on a VLCC and we went round Ca[e Horn (Cabos De Hornos) and it just happened to be a period of calm seas and winds.
My dad is a master too.. after watching your videos, I came to know how tough this job is... hats off to u and to every one who are in this profession. Happy sailing.
